3rd POV
How many sun have set, rain that poured and ocean that produced huge waves but still, two soul was not sure to meet at all.
It has been years since Yeji had woke up yet, she's still a lot more clueless of her past but lives as if nothing was missing in her life.
She may have seen some of her memories when she visited that apartment but apart from that, nothing more was giving her flashbacks.
A year had passed since the first time she's seen those paintings and stuffs but only came back for once or twice since she can't bear the occuring pain in her heart every time she steps her feet in there.
Now that she lives a complete different life from her past, she started to believe that those memories that haunts her every night was useless to her.
Yeji, no, more like Lucy lived abroad for a couple of years and have no one trying to make her remember about the deeper things she had here in where she was born.
She seeks for answers to every questions that lingers in her mind ever since that discovery but seeing like it was too personal, she asked her parents about knowing everything about her and feeling unsure with the yes given by them, she chose not to give further explanation with the sudden curious question.
Her father was obviously anxious every call and will always ask if she had meet someone or just ask her to ignore those people who will act as if they know their daughter. He agreed for Yeji to stay in Korea, away from them but was ordered to work under someone's company. Meaning, her Father wants her stay to be something valuable and that is to gain such connection for their own company.
Yeji wanted to start her own business here but with her Father's condition for her to stay where she wants, even though she didn't know why, she agreed and started to work under the Choi's company which was currently being managed by the only heir of their family.
Choi Beomgyu.
They already met on Yeji's first day at work and he's sweet, caring just like a common behavior for the first meet but as the day goes by, he started to act more childish and express himself more freely by pulling such jokes that the awkwardness of the silence after was even funnier.
The work was simple for her, paper works and reports. Her place was also high since she was assigned directly by the owner of the company, since they had connections. But it's fine for the other employees and she was not treated illy, she excel in her parts and gives the best outcome she can provide.
While working in this company, she still take care of her own company abroad and assigned someone to take in charge of reporting it's status on her.
She believes she's happy and contented working at the company and staying in her country but she knows, something was definitely missing, she just chose to ignore it and continue with her life.
Being busy, she needs enough rest and peace of mind when she comes home but not all nights were given for her to rest.
Few nights after her visit in that apartment, she'll woke up crying, chest was heavy and like she's missing someone who she couldn't name.
Until after few days, she managed to sleep peacefully. Forgetting about that memory little by little and like it didn't existed, didn't came to her mind.
