Woo Young pulled up in front of the house with the same address that San had memorized from his sisters notes. "This is it," Woo Young said as he stopped the car, "Let me walk you up. I'll explain I kept you longer than intended," He smiled, stepping out of the car.
"Woo, you don't have to," San insisted as he followed Woo Young to the stairs of the house. But Woo Young ignored him, already at the front door of the small, two-story house. He knocked on the door but received no answer.
"No answer," Woo Young stated. San looked to the younger male, then back to the door. That stuck a wrong nerve with San. He opened the door to meet an empty living room. Woo Young followed close behind him, "Damn.. must've taken a lot of force to create a dent like that," he pointed to the staircase wall and railing. Just then, the two heard a loud crash come from upstairs.
San darted his head up, "Woo, stay here," San demanded, then ran up the stairs.
...
HongJoong flicked his wrist, sending Eun-Ji flying into the wall of guns, then crashing hard into the floor. She groaned in pain as the demon approached her in HongJoong's body and crouched down to grabbed her chin, forcing her to face him. "Oh, Choi," He chuckled, "This'll be fun,"
The door to the attic flung open, "Eun-Ji!" San stood in the door way, noticing his sister on the floor with HongJoong crouching over her, her face in his large hand. The demon looked up to see San. HongJoong rolled his eyes and pushed Eun-Ji's face away aggressively. He stood up to face the older brother.
"San," His eyes blackened once again, "Two Choi's? Well damn! Eun-Ji, you didn't tell me we'd have company,"
San growled, "leave her alone,"
The demon laughed aloud, "Hah! And where's the fun in that?" He lifted his hand and clenched his fist, causing San to double over, blood dripping from his mouth.
"Stop!" Eun-Ji cried, "Please stop!"
The demon didn't listen, instead, tightened his fist and twisted, San now falling onto his side. Eun-Ji struggled, then remembered where she was laying. Surrounded by guns. She looked up to the demon that was slowly killing her brother. She grabbed the nearest gun and checked the barrel. One bullet was left. She quickly closed it and aimed at the arm holding San hostage, and shot.
...
Woo Young heard the gun shot and couldn't resist anymore. He bolted up the stairs and to the same room everyone else resided in. There, he saw HongJoong, eyes pitch black, snapping his head to Eun-Ji. Then he noticed San on the floor, surrounded by blood. "San!"
The unfamiliar voice caught the demons attention. He whipped his head around, then decided to make his exit. Black smoke exploded from HongJoong's mouth, and Woo Young jumped back in fear. Then, HongJoong's body hit the ground.
San coughed, and Woo Young kneeled down next to him, "Sann-ie, you're okay," He brushed his hair away from his face. His mind flooded with what he just saw, but he knew he couldn't focus on that. Not when San was in so much pain in front of him. San's face was pale and blood stained his lips.
"He will be okay, Woo Young," Eun-Ji commented, "He's been through worse, I promise," She offered a small smile, she could see how much Woo Young cared for her brother, and in truth, it made her happy to see. "Help me get him home. He needs to rest,"
"I'm fine, Eun.." San mumbled, forcing himself to sit up, coughing slightly as the pressure in his chest released more. Woo Young watched him carefully, then without a moments hesitation, grabbed his hand to help him stand, "HongJoong,"
Eun-Ji looked over to the limp body and approached him. She kneeled down and checked for a pulse. "He's alive... but barely," She pulled out her phone to call for emergency services, "If there is any chance he is hurt inside, I can't risk moving him," She stated before the dispatcher picked up. Eun-Ji quickly gave them the address, telling a quick lie to get through: "There was an attack.. We didn't get to see his face. He was wearing a mask. But my friend is hurt badly...Thank you," She hung up. "Quickly, we need to go before they get here,"
