Woo Young pulled up in front of a railing that created a border between them and the edge of a bluff, somewhere far enough away that no one could overhear the two talking, per San's request. Woo Young turned off the car and got out, slamming the driver side behind him. San followed close behind. "You better start talking. What was it?!" Woo Young demanded. San looked down, not sure where to start. The silence was beginning to annoy Woo Young, now. "San!"

"A demon," San said softly. Woo Young stopped.

"What?" Woo Young cocked his head.

"It was a demon," San repeated. He didn't look up. His eyes swelled with tears.

Woo Young scoffed, "A demon? You can't be serious," He shook his head, sticking his tongue into his cheek in frustration, looking off over the bluff.

San snapped his head up, "Do I look like I'm joking?" He asked with an odd tone to his voice as he tried to keep it steady.

Woo Young looked back to San, "and how much more have you lied about?"

"Whatever I had to to keep you safe," San admitted, "I lied to keep you safe. But since it's coming out now, I may as well tell you all of it, huh?"

"Oh please!" Woo Young snapped, "Go ahead,"

Tears fell down San's face, "You better ready yourself, then," He sarcastically laughed. It was more of a disbelief chuckle, "They're all real. The horror stories you were told as a kid. They're all real," San began, "Vampires, Shape shifters, ghosts.. demons." He walked up to the railing, looking out over the dark horizon. He wiped his face. "We've been hunting them from a young age. Our parents were killed by those black-eyed fools!" He slammed his hand down on the metal rail, causing his hand to sting. He bit his lip hard as he fought the breakdown.

Woo Young's narrowed brows softened, but he stayed silent.

San shook his head, turning his head to face the other male, "And we were forced to watch. Watch as our parents were screaming for their life, but the cackles of the demon that possessed them overpowered it," San's bottom lip bled from where he had bit, "Their eyes flashed from black and back. And they fought so hard, Woo Young. They fought fucking so hard!" He looked away again, balling his fist to the point his knuckled turned white.

All the anger he felt back then as he replayed the scenario in his head, the fury and pain all started to build again. He punched the railing as hard as he could before he could process what his body was doing.

"San!" Woo Young ran over to him just as San went for another hit at the rail. Woo Young grabbed his hand and held it. San broke then. He refused to look up to Woo Young. He was ashamed. Ashamed at how weak he felt he was, and for how many lies he told.

"I was trying to protect you, Woo..." San's voice trembled. Woo Young pulled San into him, encapsulating him in a tight embrace. San buried his face into Woo Young's chest, and Woo Young let him. He placed his hand on the back of San's head and gently combed through his hair. "I'm sorry, Woo Young,"

Woo Young pulled away from San and lifted his chin. He took his thumb and gently swiped across San's cheek to brush away the tears that left stains. Woo Young didn't say anything in response, but instead pressed his lips against San's, keeping his hand placed on his cheek. San's heart pounded. This was only the second time they had ever kissed, and it felt surreal. Unlike before, this kiss was soft and tender. San returned the kiss with the same passion as he felt everything melt away.

Woo Young pulled away, resting his forehead against San's. Their breathing was completely in sync with each other. "I am sorry for what you went through, San. I'm sorry for what you continue to deal with. Let me help you..."

San pushed away, "W-what? No! No I cannot let you get involved in this, Woo Young. You could be killed," San said, fear painting his voice.

"So could you. And I'll be damned if I let you do this alone anymore," Woo Young stated firmly, keeping his ground.

"Woo.." San began. The thought of Woo Young wanting into this life terrified him. With all the near death experiences, the danger it could put him in, "This life... It's not something you should want. Why would you want this? I didn't have a choice. You.. You do. And-"

"And I've made it, Choi San," Woo Young made his stance clear.

"Why?" San was almost angry at his choice, "Why would you choose to put your life at risk for this? This isn't your fight. This isn't your responsibility," He snapped. Woo Young was taken aback by San's sudden tone.

"Because I care for you, San. You and I," Woo Young hooked San's pinky with his own, holding them up, "We are together now, you hear me? Your fights are my fights. I will not sit here and do nothing," Woo Young dropped his hand, "I've made my choice."

San's heart pounded at the phrase, 'We are together now'  San looked away, nibbling away at the inside of his bottom lip, only stopping once he could taste the blood. He couldn't respond. Woo Young approached him and gently turned his face towards him, "I'm not leaving your side, San. I swear to you," Woo Young reassured him, caressing his cheek gently. San leaned into his touch.

...

Yeosang and Eun-Ji finished their dinner and arrived back at the motel before San and Woo Young had come back. "Where's your brother?"

"He's been with Woo Young," Eun-Ji shrugged. Yeosang smiled in response.

"Are they together?" He inquired, trying to hide the hopefulness in his voice.

Eun-Ji looked over to him, "do you want them to be?"

Yeosang shrugged, "I want my brother happy. He doesn't think I know.. But I've known about him being interested in men for a while. And I know San will care for him. If he is anything like you," He brushed a hair behind Eun-Ji's ear.

She blushed, smiling in response. "I think so, Sang-ie. San seems to really care for him,"

Yeosang's smile couldn't be wiped from his face, "I'm so glad.. Here, let me walk you to the door,"

...

The couple got our of the car and Yeosang led Eun-Ji to the front door of the motel just as San and Woo Young were about to approach. San noticed the two immediately, "Hold on, Woo... Turn your lights off,"

Woo Young did as he was asked.

...

"I had a lovely evening with you, Ms. Choi," Yeosang said playfully as he took her hand is his, kissing her hand. Eun-Ji blushed.

"Sang-ie," She giggled. Yeosang smiled and cupped her cheek with his large hand. She met his eyes as she leaned into his hand.

His smile slowly faded, "I love you,"

Eun-Ji's eyes widened, "W-what?"

Yeosang took a deep breath, "Eun-Ji.. I love you,"

She hesitated. Her heart jumped to her throat. She was terrified to say it back. But she did. She loved him. "I love you, too, Yeosang.."

Yeosang didn't waste a moment before pressing his lips against hers with the most love in the world. She melted into his lips, her heart felt like it could fly away at any point. The air around them felt lighter, yet in the same instance, much, much thicker as she knew now that Yeosang could be in more danger than ever.

...

San and Woo Young both watched in awe.

"Did you know about this?" San asked Woo Young, almost angrily. Woo Young was quick to shake his head.

"No. San.. You don't think she would have told him, do you?" He asked, worry filled his question.

"No.. No she isn't that dull," San insisted. But he wasn't sure if he was trying to convince Woo Young, or himself.
