San growled under his breath. "Where's your sister? I'll be saddened if I can't meet her, too," Mingi's mouth curled into a smirk. He kneeled in front of the sibling, then looked to Seonghwa, "And this? You must be Park Seonghwa, hm?" Mingi's eyes went back to their deep coffee brown.

Seonghwa ignored the red-eyed demon. "She's gone," San stated firmly, and Mingi's face dropped. He clicked his tongue and stood up.

"I had her, sir, I swear to you. I-" Yeosang's voice could be heard speaking Beom's words. Mingi glared to his servant.

"Silence," He flicked his fingers and Yeosang fell to the floor, now empty of any foreign spirit. "You, stand," Mingi demanded in a stern voice, raising his hand, bring San with it against his will. "Too bad, hm. I was hoping we could talk more about his deal," He said, slowly releasing San to the floor. It made San nervous how careful and polite he was. Like he was a ticking bomb ready to explode. San narrowed his brows and looked down to Seonghwa.

San rolled his eyes back up, "There's nothing more to talk about, we won't do it," He said, standing up straight. Mingi was slightly taller than the male, and it truth, San's knees felt weak under him. Yet he kept himself steady. He stayed silent for a moment, his thoughts running wild for what felt like hours, but in reality was only a few seconds. "You.. You are the reason my parents are dead," San put it together in his head.

Mingi chuckled, "Sann-ie.. They were weak. You.. You're strong, powerful," His eyes had an unusual glow to them as he spoke and it made San's palms sweat. Mingi turned on his heels, "And Eun-Ji?" He turned his head to face San again, "Well, you two were picked special by my Father. With her hunger," Mingi chuckled, "We knew your names before you were even conceived, Choi. 'Choi San and Eun-Ji' rang off Hell's walls. We knew this war would come. We just had to wait for the most important puzzle pieces." San looked to the floor, his heart pounding at these words. His mind ran wild. Mingi circled him, eventually pausing behind him, leaning close to his ear. "Just think.. You wouldn't have to worry about anything, ever. No fear, no pain, no sadness... I can give you and your sister the world, San,"

...

Eun-Ji and Woo Young were hidden behind the vehicles that were tucked behind the bushes. "Something doesn't feel right, Woo," Eun-Ji said, peaking over the bush and looking to the cabin they had just escaped from. Woo Young nodded in response, following her actions. "Can you see anything?"

"No.. The tree is blocking my view," Woo Young groaned, craning his neck to see if he could see around it. Eun-Ji sighed.

"Okay, I'm going to try and get a closer look," She informed, stepping out from behind the bush, "Stay here. Please," She gave Woo Young begging eyes, and he reluctantly agreed. Eun-Ji turned to the cabin and with light feet, made her way to the tree that blocked their view. She peaked around and saw a tall man standing in front of an anxious San. Still out of earshot, she crept closer, sitting under the window as to not be seen.

...

"All you have to do.. Is join us. You two are special. You can help us win this war," Mingi said in a soft tone. San nibbled on his lip. Seonghwa could see the pondering expression on San's face. Mingi tilted his head to the side, almost giving San a sympathetic look "Are you with me?" Mingi reached out his hand to San. San had a war going on in his head. He dropped his eyes to Mingi's welcoming hand, and Mingi could hear San's mumbling thoughts.

Yunho groaned as he began to wake next to Seonghwa. He just began to understand what was happening. He could hear San's racing thoughts as well. "Why us?" San finally asked, looking back up to meet Mingi's eyes. He closed his hand and sighed.

"You don't know, yet," Mingi shook his head, "You truly have no idea," Yunho knew what Mingi was referring to, his eyes widened. "I can show you,"

"San, don't," Yunho began and Mingi rid him silent, Yunho choked as he tried to speak. Seonghwa didn't know what to say, he didn't understand. He remained quiet. Part of him was curious, too.

San glanced to the window where Eun-Ji and Woo Young had made their escape. He let his eyes move back to Mingi. He hated how warm his presence felt, especially as a demon. Eun-Ji could hear it all. Her thought's flooded with every possibility. She looked to her dirt-covered hands, then slowly she peaked over as she watched Mingi put his hand on San's shoulder. San looked as if almost in a trance. "Oppa.." She mumbled.

San remained silent before his thoughts snapped back into place. He pulled way from Mingi harshly, and part of him suddenly felt cold. Mingi was taken aback by his sudden action. "Nothing you do, and nothing you say will make us join you," San snapped, his brows furrowed, "We're done here," San knew, if him and Eun-Ji were truly as 'powerful' as Mingi claimed, then he couldn't kill them. Not without being hunted himself.

Mingi growled under his breath, then took a deep breath, "No need to make a decision, now," He grinned as he brushed off his suit. "Take your time, you'll know how to find me,"

And before San could blink, Mingi had vanished. He looked around, then spotted Yeosang on the ground. "Yeosang," San mumbled as he ran to his side. Yunho coughed as he felt Mingi release his voice. Seonghwa looked to the window to see Eun-Ji. He nodded an 'okay' for her to get Woo Young. She turned and rushed back, her pain starting to come to the forefront as her adrenaline began to wear off. Her cuts burned horribly.

San leaned down to Yeosang's side and checked for a pulse. "He's alive," He felt a rush of relief wash over him, "Hwa, help me get him out of here," San stated as he took one of Yeosang's arms and swung it over his shoulder, and Seonghwa rushed to his side and took Yeosang's other arm. He was completely deadweight. Yunho stood and moved the bookshelf that had originally blocked their way out. Woo Young and Eun-Ji met them at the entrance of the cabin and Seonghwa handed his side of Yeosang off to Woo Young, who took him and helped San lead him to the car.

Eun-Ji grew tired, her feet shuffled as she began to hurt more as her adrenaline calmed. She hissed every time her white, blood-stained cotton shirt brushed against her sensitive skin. Seonghwa noticed her pain and rushed to her side. "Eun-Ji, let me help you," He spoke to her softly as he lifted her from the ground before she could stop him. Not like she would have. As soon as her body was horizontal, she began to fall asleep, wincing whenever Seonghwa would brush against her side. "Yunho.. can't you heal her?"

Yunho shook his head, "that is not within my power to do, Seonghwa," He admitted and sighed, "I may be able to take some of the pain, though." He said as he rested a hand on her chest, closing his eyes while Eun-Ji's body completely relaxed. Seonghwa smiled and looked to Yunho.

"Thank you," He said, looking into Yunho's chocolate eyes, then down to a sleeping Eun-Ji. Once the group had arrived to their vehicles, Seonghwa gently set Eun-Ji down in the back seat of the Challenger, resting her head in Yeosang's lap as he sat unconscious, his head resting against the window.

"They'll be okay," Yunho said as he gently closed the door to Eun-Ji's side. He turned to look to San, "I was able to take some of her pain away... She's pretty hurt,"

"Yunho.. Thank you," San said, placing a friendly hand on his shoulder, "..What did he mean?"

"Hm?" Yunho hummed in question.

"Mingi, what did he mean?" San asked again, figuring Yunho would know since he must've heard his name in Hell, as well.

Yunho paused for a moment. "I don't know, San," He lied. Yunho knew exactly what Mingi meant. Yunho knew as soon as he met the Choi siblings what they were. But it was not his place to say.

They'd find out on their own soon enough.
