San took off after Woo Young, his heart racing as he tried to catch up with the monster that chased him. Woo Young ran as fast as he could, his feet fell numb with every speeding step he took, running towards the edge of the village. His breath caught in his chest as he heaved, fighting to the last breath as he ran. He couldn't slow down, not now, but yet he found his legs growing tired beneath him. "Woo Young, don't slow down, c'mon!" San called, but all Woo Young heard was muffles as the Rakasha leaped towards him, latching its jagged nails into Woo Young's arm.

A piercing scream erupted from Woo Young as a large gash was left from where the monster just barely missed grabbing him. streams of blood quickly spilled from the open wound, slowing him down more. He breathing was sharp as he tried to keep his pace. The wind tangling his greasy hair as it pushed it from his face. The Rakasha pounced, hopping right onto Woo Young's back, digging its claws into his shoulders. Woo Young screamed out in pain as he felt dagger-like claws dig deep into his back.

"Woo Young!" San's powerful voice belted through the air, like a wind strong enough to knock someone from their feet. The physical vibrations of his call could be seen running through the atmosphere as his hands sparked like electricity. His feet stopped abruptly as a halo of dark light surrounded him, his eyes closed tight before springing open, revealing a yellow glow as he held out his hand, as if he had done it his whole life. It was as if San has no physical control, as if it wasn't even him. He turned his hand up, releasing a loud gurgling sound from the Rakshasa's throat as blood pooled from its ajar mouth.

The monster released Woo Young from its grasp, dropping his pained body to the ground. Woo Young spun around quickly to notice the creature choking on its own blood and sparks of warm light flickering beneath its skin, then behind to see San approaching it, his eyes glowing yellow like the sun had taken its residence there. Crunching of bones echoed through the daylight, and the light around San grew. Subconsciously, Woo Young covered his eyes with his bloody arm as the flash exploded around them, before subsiding into a low dim that eventually dissipated, leaving the Rakshasa ash on the gravel.

Woo Young slowly uncovered his eyes and was taken aback by what he saw in front of him. The ash pile fell at his feet. He gasped for air as he looked up to see San, standing there with a deadly glare plastered on his face. His chest rose and fell heavily as he caught his breath. San hadn't full realized what he had done yet, not until Eun-Ji rushed past him to Woo Young's side. Woo Young's heart threatened to break free from his chest as his breath became staggered from fear and anxiety.

Eun-Ji placed a hand on Woo Young's shoulder, causing him to jerk away and push himself across the gravel away from her. He whipped his head back towards San, fear captivating his eyes. "Woo Young, please.." Eun-Ji spoke softly towards the male.

"What are you?!" He yelled, fighting against the stabbing pain in his shoulders and arms. San's eyes glossed with tears as he took a step towards Woo Young carefully, reaching his hand out to him.

"Woo Young, we won't hurt you," He spoke with a tremble lacing his voice. Woo Young scooted back again and San stopped, "Woo, please, let us help you," San begged, a single tear falling down his dirt stained cheek as he tried to take another step closer. Eun-Ji stayed crouched on the ground, watching Woo Young try to calm his rapid breathing.

"Tell me what you are!" He winced as his body flexed out of nerves. His voice was filled with fury and fear.

"We don't know, Woo Young," Eun-Ji responded, scooting closer and carefully placing her hand on his leg, "I promise we would never, ever hurt you. Please," She begged as she looked Woo Young in the eyes, his fear prominent as he looked back at her. He swallowed hard, his throat feeling as though he swallowed sand as he looked back up to San. Woo Young's hair stuck to his forehead in sweaty clumps. He didn't say anything, he spent his silence trying to calm his breathing.
