Woo Young and San pulled up behind Eun-Ji and Yeosang now after they had watched for long enough. San's blood boiled. "San-ah. Take a deep breath," Woo Young encouraged the male in his attempts to calm him. San sat and picked at his thumbs. Woo Young reached over and placed his hand over them.

"Yet she criticized me," San mumbled. He looked down to Woo Young's hand that rested over his own and let out a deep sigh. San got out of the car, catching the attention of the couple at the door. The two immediately dropped their hands.

"San," Yeosang bowed his head in greeting to the older. San returned the favor with a half-assed head bow, as well. Yeosang looked to Eun-Ji and held up a phone signal with his hand, then waved as he went back to his car. He glanced into the window of Woo Young's car and smiled. Woo Young half smiled back.

"Eun-Ji, inside," San demanded as he unlocked and pushed the door open, "Now."

Eun-Ji did as her older brother demanded and went in, San following behind, not looking back before closing the motel room door. "San, please.."

San dropped the keys on the table, the cling of metal against metal rang through the room. "What does he know?" San asked without looking up from the keys he had dropped.

"Nothing, I swear," Eun-Ji insisted, standing in the middle of the room. Her hands shook from her nerves. San was never supposed to find out.

"End it." San said, closing his eyes tight. His heart broke as he said it, knowing how much he was die inside if those words were said to him regarding Woo Young.

Eun-Ji was taken aback. "What?"

"End it, Eun-Ji!" San slammed his hand on the table, causing Eun-Ji to jump back. He clenched his fist. He looked up to her to see the fear from him slamming the table, but he could also see her confusion and hurt. "If Yeosang finds out anything, he won't stand a chance and you know it,"

"He won't, San. I swore to myself to keep him safe. He won't know anything," Eun-Ji pleaded, voice shaking.

"And what kind of relationship is that? One filled with secrets and lies?" San took a deep breath, "You know what the best way is to keep him safe. Yeosang has a choice! Just him being close to us is putting him on a demons radar. Do you want to do that to him?"

Eun-Ji looked down, not saying anything. he knew San was right, but she couldn't bring herself to admit it.

"Do you?!" San snapped.

"No," She finally responded, not looking up from the floor. A tear dripped from the tip of her nose, and San's heart shattered. He felt terrible as he watched his sister break in front of him, compared to the happiness he saw in her earlier.

"Eun-Ji, I'm sorry," San began.

"And what about Woo?" Eun-Ji interrupted. San straightened up, "I suppose he would stand a chance? Why didn't you push him away? You knew the consequences of this, too. Yet you're drilling me?!" Eun-Ji yelled through her heartbreak.

"I tried, Eun-Ji. I never wanted him to get close. I never wanted this for him!" San snapped back in response, "Woo Young didn't get the choice. Yeosang has one!"

"Then why don't you end it?" Eun-Ji inquired, "Why don't you do what you know is best and end it?" San looked away. He couldn't respond to his sister, and he knew how hypocritical that was of him. "That's what I thought," Eun-Ji shook her head, "Don't come to me telling me to make the right choice when you won't even do it yourself, San,"

Eun-Ji pushed passed him towards the door and opened it, "Eun-Ji, wait,"

She walked out without a word, slamming it hard behind her.

...

Eun-Ji shivered as the cold, brittle Seoul air hit her face, causing the tears to feel like ice against her cheeks. Yet, she continued to walk, not minding how cold she was getting. Her heart felt heavy in her chest. The argument between her and her brother played over and over again. Eun-Ji pulled out her phone and dialed Yeosang's number, stopping before she hit the phone button. She sighed as a pair of headlights illuminated the sidewalk in front of her. The car sped up and pulled up in front of her.

Eun-Ji stopped, becoming overly aware of her new situation. She watched as the car turned off and a male stepped out. "Eun-Ji, what in the hell are you doing?"

She recognized the voice to be Woo Young. "Woo Young?"

He jogged up to her after pulling a hoodie out of his back seat, "God you're freezing," He handed her his largely oversized hoodie and she didn't hesitate to slip it on. The warmth encapsulated her as she let out a shivery breath, "What are you doing? San is worried sick,"

Eun-Ji rolled her eyes at his name, "We got into a fight. I needed a break," She responded to the male. Woo Young sighed, as he already knew about the fight.

"Eun.. He doesn't mean any harm," Woo Young insisted, giving her a sympathetic look. Eun-Ji looked up to meet Woo Young's eyes. It was obvious now what her brother saw in him. He was incredibly handsome, his features were softer compared to Yeosang's, but she could still see the resemblance.

She sighed and looked away, "So you two can be together, but Yeosang and I can't? Where's the logic, Woo?"

Woo Young understood where she was coming from, and knew her frustration, "It's.. it's different, Eun-Ji,"

"How? Can you truly tell me how?" She interrupted him, looking back up to him. She could feel her anger building again, but used all her control to keep herself calm. She nibbled at her lip, and Woo Young saw San all over her nervous face.

"Yeosang doesn't know anything about this life you two live. He doesn't know about what truly hides in the dark," He motioned to the night that surrounded them, "Eun-Ji.. San tried to push me away. And I fought him tooth and nail. I told him I didn't care, that I wanted to be with him,"

Eun-Ji stayed silent, and Woo Young decided to continue.

"He can't know about this. Me knowing is bad enough. And I know what risk I have put myself in. I know this could kill me. But Yeosang can still get out. He still has that chance, Eun," Woo Young rested his hand on Eun-Ji's shoulder and gave it a light, comforting squeeze, "Please understand. San doesn't want you to hurt. He is trying to keep the person you love safe,"

Eun-Ji felt her eyes sting with tears again as she processed everything she was being told, "I'm so sorry, Woo Young.."

Woo Young pulled her into a hug and she broke. Crying into the older males chest. Woo Young sat there, letting the younger cry into his chest as he combed through her hair in the same way he knew comforted San.

"We aren't safe out here, and you must be exhausted," Woo Young commented as he felt Eun-Ji begin to calm down. Eun-Ji pulled away and nodded. Woo Young smiled softly and offered his arm, "I'll take you back,"

Eun-Ji smiled and hooked her arm through his, and Woo Young led them to his car. He opened the door for her and made sure she was comfortable before closing it behind her, then taking a quick glance around to make sure they were safe before walking to the other side and getting in. He started the car with high heat and took her back to the motel.
