"What do you mean you don't know?" Woo Young snapped, a little more harsh than he intended. He subconsciously took a step back from San as he felt his heart pound roughly in his chest. "How in the hell do you not know?"

"I mean, I just don't. I don't know." San responded firmly. As firmly as his anxious emotions allowed, "I don't know what the hell is going on, I don't know why Mingi threw us here. I don't know why, in his eyes, we are so damn special. I just don't know!" His voice broke as his emotions flooded past his lips. He felt his bottom lip quiver at the anxiety that consumed him.

In truth, he was absolutely terrified. He didn't know what they were, he didn't know how powerful he truly was. He didn't know if he was safe to be around. His mind flashed back to Eun-Ji, and the way she was able to heal him with just her delicate hand. Woo Young stayed silent at this response. He broke his gaze from the older, not knowing whether he should be scared of him or not.

"Woo Young, I'm not dangerous..." San insisted. Although, he wasn't sure if he was trying to convince Woo Young, or himself.

...

"What do you mean he went with Mingi?" Seonghwa asked the blonde, feeling a lump in his chest at the very thought. Yeosang shifted his eyes to the raven-haired male, trying his best to keep his emotions level as he looked back on the situation.

"He told Woo that he could take him to them, and Woo Young fucking agreed!" His anger snapped. He felt the bile rising in his throat as his stomach churned, "Then Mingi looked at me and winked as he took my brother and vanished!" He threw his hands up in a mimicking motion, "I couldn't get to them in time..." Yeosang's voice softened as he suddenly felt the guilt settle.

He stood there, frozen as he watched Woo Young with the crimson-eyed demon. He didn't make any motion to move towards them, to stop Woo Young from taking Mingi's hand. He stood there and watched. A tear silently fell down his cheek as he collapsed into the floor, his grown out locks falling in front of his face as he silently cried. He had lost Eun-Ji, and now his little brother. He felt sick. He felt angry. He felt confused.

Seonghwa kneeled by his side, gently rubbing his back as he looked up to Yunho, "it's okay, Yeo. We will find them. I promise," he directed his solemn gaze back to the broke male. "I promise.."

...

"How would you know that? You don't even know what you are!" Woo Young snapped, whipping his head back up to look San in the eyes. Woo Young's eyes glossed over with tears that threatened to overflow. San was taken aback by the sudden change in his tone. San didn't know what to say, because Woo Young was right. He didn't know. He didn't know anything. Woo Young stuck his tongue into his cheek, looking off to the side.

The air grew painfully quiet around them as neither of them knew what to say. "I'm going to find Eun.. Please, just stay here," San begged as the silence became too much. Woo Young didn't respond, he just sat back down on the old oak stairs. San sighed as he stepped away, leaving Woo Young alone to ponder his own thoughts.

"Eun-Ji?" San called out, stepping around the corner to spot his sister sitting on the floor, scratching into the cement with a piece of wood as she tried to calm her mind. "Eun-Ji, hey," San gave her a warm smile to try and hide his fear and heartbreak from his conversation with Woo Young. Eun-Ji looked up to her brother, then scoffed as she dropped her gaze back down.

"Hey," She mumbled back, drawing scratches on the floor. San sighed as he approached his sister, sitting across from her as he tried to make out what she was drawing. He cocked his head to the side as he watched her hand move expertly across the cement. Eun-Ji caught onto his confused silence, "I'm trying to plan an escape," She explained as she wiped away part of the path she drew with a side of her fist, then quickly scribbling in her mark as she fixed the path. San looked up to her, silent as he racked his brain of what to say back, "look, we can't stay here forever. We are barely safe," She said as she heard a creak in the floor above them. Mild debris fell from the wood ceiling as the monster stalked above them.
