Eun-Ji woke up in the motel room she had grown familiar with and subconsciously stretched, immediately recoiling when pain shot through her body. She groaned as she rubbed her eyes, looking to the bed San would normally occupy. As her eyes adjusted to the figure laying before her, she recognized it to be Yeosang. She tried to sit up, but was hit with a rush of sharp pain shooting through her body. "Whoa, whoa, slow down, Eun," San had just come from the shower when he noticed her trying to sit up. She spun her head to look at him. "Welcome back," He grinned.
"Yeosang.. Is he okay?" Eun-Ji asked, looking over to the sleeping male. San came over and sat with her, gently placing his hand on her leg.
"He's okay. He's just tired. Why don't you go wash up, hm? You reek," San teased and Eun-Ji playfully hit him, "I'll help you up, slowly," San offered. Eun-Ji nodded and San slowly helped the younger sit up, she winced slightly, then took a deep breath. "You okay to walk to the shower?"
"I'm okay," Eun-Ji assured him, "San.. what did he mean? Mingi?..When he said we were 'special'?" She asked, her curiosity eating her alive.
San shrugged, "I don't know. I really don't,"
She nodded defeatedly, and shuffled to the bathroom.
...
Woo Young pulled up with enough groceries to get them through the week. Once the two victims were awake, they would be moving to the apartment him and Yeosang lived. Woo Young turned off the car and gathered his bags, heading up to the door. He opened it to find Yeosang, sitting up in bed, San sitting next to him. "Sang-ah?" Woo Young mumbled, and Yeosang looked to meet his brothers eyes. Woo Young set the bags down as Yeosang stood up. Woo Young smiled and walked up to his older brother, taking him into a big hug. Yeosang hugged him back, and San stayed quiet while the siblings had their moment. Woo Young pulled away. "What do you remember?"
Yeosang sighed. "Unfortunately, everything..." He looked to San, who gave him a sympathetic smile, "He told me about everything, too," He said as he looked back to Woo Young. "I'm so sorry, Woo," Yeosang apologized, looking to the bruised mark on Woo Young's face.
Woo Young put his hand on his brothers shoulder, "Don't be. It wasn't you. Plus, doesn't it make me look cooler?" He laughed as he modeled his battle mark. Yeosang laughed back, but ultimately still felt extremely guilty for what had happened.
Eun-Ji came out in a tank and jeans. Her wounds now scabbed over. The cuts decorated her body, and now that she was clean, it showed just how many there were. She was covered in black and blue marks from where she was hit, as well. Yeosang turned to see her and his eyes widened. "Eun-Ji.." He approached her, and she backed up, subconsciously afraid of him, now. He stopped, and his heart shattered, "Eun.."
San and Woo Young exchanged looks, then Woo Young looked back to the others, "Eun-Ji.. it's him," He spoke softly. Her heart raced as she looked at him, every memory of what had happened flooding her mind. She looked into his eyes but said nothing. "I promise,"
Yeosang didn't make any advances to move forward. The last thing he wanted was for her to feel uncomfortable or scared. Eun-Ji looked at his blue eyes that now had their usual glow. She hesitated, but took a step closer to him. She slowly reached up to him, placing her hand on his face. Her eyes welled with tears. His skin was warm and soft, just like it should be. Yeosang leaned into her hand and brought his hand up to lay over hers. She startled a bit and Yeosang lifted his hand before they both relaxed.
"Eun-Ji.. I'm so sorry. For everything," Yeosang whispered as he dropped his gaze down to her new scars. Eun-Ji let a tear fall as she put her other hand on the opposite side of his face. She stepped closer and the couple leaned their foreheads against each other. "I'm so sorry," He whispered again, a tear dropping from his nose.
San nudged Woo Young, motioning for the door so the two could have some privacy. Woo Young nodded and they quietly walked to the door, walking out and sitting outside while the two had their time.
Yeosang wiped a tear from Eun-Ji's face, "I hope with everything you forgive me. I heard your pleas. I heard you calling for me.." His breath hitched as he tried not to break. "I tried, Eun-Ji. I tried so hard to fight back, I-"
Yeosang was interrupted by Eun-Ji's lips pressing against his. She kissed him with tender passion, and Yeosang's heart stopped. He closed his eyes and kissed her back with the same passion. She pulled away and wiped his face, "There's nothing to forgive. It wasn't you, Sang-ie," She finally said after what felt like forever. Yeosang took a shaky breath as he pulled her into a hug. It hurt, but she fought it as the hug felt like her safe haven. She hugged him back, wrapping her arms around his waist.
"I love you, Eun-Ji," Yeosang whispered in her ear, holding her like she was the most precious being in the world. He ran his hand into her hair and kissed her head.
Eun-Ji cried, "I love you, Jung Yeosang," She responded through her whimpers. She buried her face into he chest, then adjusting so she could clearly listen to his heartbeat, "Please take me back..."
Yeosang tightened his grip for a quick moment as he smiled, "Of course, my princess," He responded softly, combing through her wet hair with his fingers. She smiled through her tears. His body was warm and comforting. The safest she felt, even after everything. Yeosang no longer felt cold as he did when Beom possessed him. He just felt like Yeosang. Just how she liked it.
They stayed there for what felt like hours, and slowly her pain dissipated as she focused more on Yeosang's steady heartbeat. She tapped his back to the same beat, and somehow, Yeosang knew exactly what she was doing, and in a way, it comforted him. He held her tight, just happy to know she didn't hate him for what he did. He was happy to be back.
Though one thing kept pushing to the front of his mind: What Mingi had said. While Beom possessed him, he could hear his thoughts. He could hear when Beom told Yeosang what the Choi's were. Yeosang took a deep breath as he remembered. What they were didn't make them evil.
But it definitely didn't make them human.

A/N: Finally! A EunSang moment again! I just want to thank you guys for almost 200 reads! With a lot of thought and tweaking of the story, I am finally liking the way it is turning out. I know this chapter is shorter, but I felt this reconciliation between EunSang needed it's own chapter with no other focus. Hold tight! Things are about to get serious in coming chapters. <3
