Woo Young chased San out of the motel, now in a more protective and dominant state. San went to open the door of his challenger and Woo Young pushed it back closed. "San-ah, listen to me,".
"Move, Woo Young," Saw snarled, looking up the his lover. Woo Young stood tall, showing his dominance over San.
"No," Woo Young said plainly, "You need to listen to me," He kept his hand planted against the car, preventing San from opening it again. San remained quiet, avoiding eye contact with the male. San was confused and angry. Woo Young took his silence as his queue to continue, "I know you know him well enough to know he wouldn't hurt Eun-Ji. You saw how he looked at her just as clearly as I did. He is so in love with her, San. You need to look at this from a new perspective..."
San looked up, brows still narrowed, "Please, enlighten me," He said with a harsh tone lacing his usually soft voice. It made his voice sound deeper than normal.
"You're a hunter, San. Think about this," Woo Young pressed. San rolled his eyes and Woo Young growled, "He's not the same Yeosang! His whole demeanor has flipped, his eyes are dark and hollow, his posture is abnormally proper. You are not this dull, San!" Woo Young tapped San's forehead with two fingers.
San swatted Woo Young's hand away, "So what, you think he's possessed?" He asked and both males went silent. Woo Young raised his brows, waiting for San to realize what he said. San sat for a moment, "Oh my god.." San's tunnel vision faded.
"Think about it.. Why would Yeosang want you so desperately?" Woo Young asked, noticing San was starting to understand.
San ran his fingers through his hair, "Shit.." Woo Young finally let go of the car door, allowing San to get in behind the wheel. San slid in, "Well are you coming? I can't save them both on my own,"
Woo Young smirked proudly, and quickly got in on the other side, "You know it's a trap, right?" Woo Young inquired.
"Yup," San responded plainly, revving the engine and pulling out of the parking lot.
...
Eun-Ji was almost unconscious, her head bobbed as she struggled to keep herself awake. Yeosang hadn't been in to torment her in hours, and her body was finally beginning to shut down from exhaustion. The ropes that dug into her wrists began to leave burns. Her body ached. She wasn't sure she could move even if she wanted to. Her cuts stung with dirt and debris.
The sound of heavy foot steps startled her awake as Yeosang's figure approached her, tapping away at his watch, "tick... tick... tick," his chuckle echoed through the musty, cold room. Yeosang's figure looked thin, like the demon hadn't been feeding him. Eun-Ji closed her eyes tight, as she couldn't stand to look at him, "What's the matter? Don't want to see me?" The demon teased as he walked around to the back of the chair.
"Yeosang.." Eun-Ji mumbled, her voice shook with weakness, "Please... Fight back,"
The demon snarled and grabbed a handful of hair and yanked her head back, then smirking at the revealed skin that was decorated with scratches, "Eun-Ji, you know he can't hear you," He dragged his finger up her neck, causing her to squirm. Even Yeosang's hands felt different, "Hell.. for all you know, he could be dead," Yeosang's usual playful smile was more of an evil and seductive smirk when the demon possessed him. Eun-Ji's eyes welled with tears and the demon threw her head forward, "your brother better hurry, I'm growing impatient,". He turned on his heels and exited the room, leaving Eun-Ji with the only thought that Yeosang, her one true lover, could be dead.
...
San ignored the speed limits as he drove, not saying a word to his passenger as he drove. Woo Young could feel the tension stick to the air like glue. It made it feel heavy. "San.."
"Hm?" San's voice was somehow on the brink of being soft and rough at the same time, almost a growl. He didn't take his eyes off the road as he waited for his partner to continue.
"Do you have a plan?" Woo Young asked, genuinely curious of San had even made it that far in his thought process.
San didn't hesitate to reply, "Save them,"
Woo Young nodded and bit his lip, "Not much of a plan, but alright,"
The sun had begun to set as the men drove down the narrow highway, the Seoul buildings became a blur in San's vision as his mind started wandering to Eun-Ji. His heart shattered for her. He worried the demon wouldn't follow through. He worried she would already be dead. San's grip turned white on the steering wheel and he bit his lip. It was only when he tasted blood could he tell how nervous he truly was. He had no idea what his plan actually was. Or if he'd even make it out alive. As his consciousness returned to him, he started to regret bringing his lover. "Woo Young,"
Woo Young looked over to San, his soft complexion glowed under the setting sunlight "Yes, Sann-ie?"
San's heart wrenched at the name, especially considering what he was getting ready to ask. He took a deep breath, "I need you to promise me something, okay?"
Woo Young's expression shifted, "What is it?"
"I need you to promise me.. if it get's bad, and if I don't make it... You'll run," San stated bluntly. Woo Young's eyes widened at the request.
"What?" Woo Young shifted to face him, "San, no,"
"Woo Young-" San bit the same spot on the inside of his lip, "You will run like you've never ran before. Do you understand me?"
Woo Young shook his head, "No, I can't do that-" He insisted. The thought of San not making it was painful, but the harsh reality.
"Woo Young!" San snapped with a tremble in his voice. Woo Young stayed silent. his hands hid in his lap. "Please,"
"Okay," Woo Young finally responded, "Okay, I promise.. I'll run," He never looked away from San, and his heart broke. San held out his pinky, taking one quick glance to Woo Young and Woo Young hesitated to take one hand from his lap and hook his pinky with San's, keeping his fingers crossed on the other hand.
