Eun-Ji pulled up in front of the house the address led her to. By then, it was around 12:30pm. She checked her phone for any update from her brother with no luck. She groaned and turned off the car. She pushed open the car door and shoved the keys into her pocket. She took a deep calming breath as she adjusted her shirt and hair before letting her feet guide her to the front door.

The house was on the smaller side, with a set of stairs leading to the main door. She checked her notepad for clarification before knocking with a shaky hand. She took a step back and wiped off her sweaty palms just as the door knob turned. The door opened to reveal a man, on the shorter side but still taller than herself. He had black hair and dark brown eyes. He dressed in a grey tee and black sweats. Yet, somehow still looked breathtaking.

"Hello?" He asked once meeting his eyes with Eun-Ji.

"Oh. Hi.. it's HongJoong, correct?" She asked, fighting the shakiness in her voice.

"It is... and who are you?"

"Sorry," she bowed, "My name is Choi Eun-Ji... I saw an article in the paper about your family,"

HongJoong shifted on his feet, "Okay? What about it? Are you gonna tell me I'm crazy, too?"

Eun-Ji shook her head, "No! I was actually visiting because something similar happened with my parents... And I want to find out who did it,"

"It isn't 'who'," HongJoong snarled, "It's 'what'."

Eun-Ji nodded, "Yes.. I'm sorry. What did it," she corrected herself. "My brother and I have been searching for it for 10 years. I was hoping you could help us.."

HongJoong eyes widened, "You mean... and kill it?"

"Find out what it's intentions are, find out the pattern, and maybe find out who's next so we can stop it," Eun-Ji explained.

HongJoong sighed, he was fighting with his mind. Whether Eun-Ji was lying, was it worth it. He met her eyes, then stepped aside, "come in."

...

Woo Young and San got distracted by each other, and San lost track of time. He glanced down at his phone to see it was now 12:45pm. "Shit, I totally lost track of time. I was supposed to meet my sister," San scrambled to stand up and Woo Young grabbed his hand.

"Calm down, Sann-ie. I'm sure she will understand," He stood up with San, towering slightly over him. He didn't let go of his hand. San's heart stopped. The nickname filled his stomach with butterflies.

"Woo, I really need to go," San tried turning away to leave, but not before Woo Young pulled San into him, their chests hit each other and Woo Young placed his hand on the back on San's head.

"San.. Calm down.." Woo Young spoke softly and it sent shivers down San's spine. San felt he couldn't say no to him. He couldn't bring himself to push away or fight him. San nodded, "You calm?"

San nodded again and bit his inner lip. San could feel his cheeks burning up.

...

"Could you possibly tell me what you saw...?" Eun-Ji asked tenderly, taking a drink of the fresh tea HongJoong provided.

HongJoong swallowed hard, "Yeah..." He cleared his throat, "It was late.. probably 12am and I heard screaming.. intertwined with laughing," he shook his head, his voice shook. He took a deep breath and continued, "I ran downstairs to see my mom on the floor, blood pooling from her mouth. And my dad was...laughing. He looked at me and his eyes turned black as he flicked his wrist, throwing me into the staircase," He motioned to the broken railing, "I passed out.. and when I woke up," His voice broke.
