Third person POV
Erwin combed Mikasa's hair carefully as he braided it. Levi had taught him how to braid and he was getting much better at it.
As Levi had been feeling sick , Erwin was the one to get the kids ready for bed every day.
Mikasa looked in the mirror and smiled a monotone smile.
"Its beautiful daddy!" Armin giggled from beside her.
"Me too, me too!!" He chanted.
Erwin was stunned, as Armins hair isnt as long as Mikasa's. Erwin set Mikasa off to bed and Armin plopped himself infront of him.
Erwin struggled to braid his hair a bit, but got it done nevertheless. Armin was staring at his hair in awe.
Taking this as his cue to leave, Erwin got up to leave the room. However, Eren stopped him. He pushed a chapter book at him and frowned.
"Read." He demanded. Erwin sighed as he took the book and grabbed hold of Eren's hand.
As Erwin tucked all of them in he realized Mikasa was already fast asleep. He chuckled while kissing her forehead and sat down, beginning to read whatever book Eren handed him.
"It was a hot summer day, the kids went out to play. Mom cooked roast while Dad worked at the post....."
At the end of the 5th chapter Eren was also asleep. But Armin was still awake, and interested.
"Arent you tired, little one?" Erwin asked.
Armin yawned as he responded.
"I wanna know what happens to Mama!!" He whined.
"Hey, tell you what. If you go to sleep, then I'll read you 10 chapters tomorrow. 5 in the morning, 5 at night. Okay?"
Armin frowned but eventually agreed. He shut his eyes and was asleep in no time. Erwin slowly stood up and left the room, leaving the door ajar.
He walked into the bedroom he and Levi shared and smiled at a sleeping Levi sprawled on the bed.
He sat on the side and kissed Levi's cheek, waking him up.
"Ugh, finally. Im cold." Levi said groggily.
"Why didn't you just use the blanket?" Erwin asked.
"Because I'm not blanket cold I'm husband cold."
"What is husband cold?"
"A cold only a husband can warm. Come lay next to me.." Levi groaned at Erwin's questions.
Erwin smiled as he walked to the other side of the bed and laid down. He wrapped his arms around Levi and pulled him closer. Levi sighed and relaxed his body into Erwins grasp.
"Love you." Levi mumbled.
"Love you too."
