Erwin ignored Levi all day. He didn't even bat an eye, or acknowledge Levi was there. Levi was slightly hurt, but he knew not to show his emotions--or let them get the best of him. He ate with Hanji, which was unusual. Even a few people in the office were confused why he wasn't with Erwin. Levi hated the attention he was getting and excused himself to the bathroom. Not knowing he'd been followed, Levi took his tie off and loosened the top 3 buttons, suddenly feeling very hot due to his frustration. He heard a simple knock and heavy footsteps click against the tiles. He wanted to be relieved, but he was just so angry at Erwin for everything that happened.
"Levi? Can I talk to-"
"Why? You wanna kiss me again and then storm off?" Levi cut him off, his words sending a sharp pain down Erwins' chest. Erwin had never been snapped at by Levi, not once in his life. Well I mean--jokingly, yeah. But not in a serious, 'I'm pissed at you' manner. Erwin approached Levi and smiled down at him. Levi looked quite literally anywhere but him, wanting to be mad at him--though it was hard when he was being so caring.
"Levi, listen."
"Oh don't worry Erwin, I wouldn't dream of running off, that'd be-"
"Would you shut up already??" Erwin spat. Levi looked surprised, not expecting Erwin to get frustrated. But nonetheless, he shut up.
"Listen, I'm not gay. What happened was a total mistake and I-I only did it cause I thought you wanted it. I was just sad because of Marie, nothing else. Do you understand?" Erwin tried to come off as gentle but it was difficult with the words coming out of his mouth.
Levi glared at him and walked away. Erwin knew he'd fucked up, and he regretted it immediately. He didn't mean to say that, he just got nervous because he felt like someone was watching. "Levi, wait!" Erwin called after him, but to no avail. He felt so stupid, Levi took time out of his day to care for him and he treated him horribly. He felt stressed, he needed a drink. So, later that night, Erwin went to a bar. His life was falling apart and it was halfway his fault. He still felt terrible for saying that to Levi but then again, he wasn't gay--so at least he wasn't leading Levi on, right? He sat down and put his head in his hands while he waited for his drink.

"Sir, you need to leave."
"IIII donntt listeeeeeennn to noooooob- *hiccup* ody." Erwin slurred.
The worker ran her fingers through her ginger hair and bit her lip, wondering what to do.
Erwin laughed at how ridiculous he sounded and soon, bursted into a laughing fit. The worker grabbed Erwins' phone that he had left on the counter and clicked on the 'emergency contacts' in the bottom left corner. 'Levi' was the first contact she saw, so she called the number immediately. Levi picked up quicker than she expected, in fact she didn't even notice.
"Erwin? You have alot of nerve calling me afte-"
"Sir--please don't drink that!!" The barista yelled, cutting Levi off. She put the phone to her ear and apologized, explaining the situation. Levi rolled his eyes and shook his head. He was already in his car, and decided to just go and pick Erwin up.

Erwin stumbled into the parking lot, Levi dragging him along by the ear. Erwin groaned a symphony of 'ow's and 'get off me's. Levi shoved Erwin into the passenger seat and got in the drivers, gripping the steering wheel tightly out of embarrassment. Erwin could sense his distress and wrapped his arms around him, startling Levi. He pushed him away and turned around, pulling out of the parking spot and leaving the bar. Erwin blinked slowly before returning to his arms to his sides, not wanting to anger Levi any further. He was drunk, not stupid.
They arrived at Erwins house and Levi guided Erwin inside. He sighed as he ran Erwin a shower once again, to get rid of the stench of alcohol. Erwin had spilled beer all over his front, disappointing Levi further. He undressed Erwin, confusing him. Erwin, in his drunken state, assumed they were having sex. He leaned down to kiss Levi and pushed him against the sink.
"Erwin- no." Levi said coldly, pushing him off. Erwin frowned, but obliged and let Levi undress him fully. Erwin didn't clean his body, he just stood in the water. He was slowly recovering, due to the healing of the hot water. Levi rolled his eyes at Erwins' stubbornness and grabbed a rag, scrubbing his body down for him. When Erwin got out, Levi gave him mouth wash to mask the scent of his alcohol-stricken mouth. They went to Erwins room and Levi laid him in his bed. He sighed at how peaceful Erwin seemed and wished he could stay like this forever, happy, content and at peace. As he was about to leave, he felt strong arms wrap around him and pull him down to the bed with him.
"Please don't leave.." Erwin murmured.
"Erwin- get off- I'm not Marie."
"Please Levi.." He begged.
"Erwin? Are you still drunk?"
"I love you, so much. Really--I don't know what I'd do without you. But I want you. I need you. You're my everything. I didn't mean it--it wasn't a mistake, I'm just scared. I wanna be with you, but I've never done this before. I'm willing to try, please don't give up on me." Erwin slurred his words and hiccuped most the time he was speaking, so Levi had slight trouble understanding him. But he definitely got the message, and he could feel his heart beating.
"Erwin..." Levi started. But Erwin had already fallen asleep. He pulled Levi so close he could smell the faint stench of alcohol he so desperately tried to cover up. Levi sighed and gave up, accepting the fact he wasn't going to get out of this. He closed his eyes and fell asleep, comfortably in Erwins' grasp.
----~----
Levi woke up to a loud thud. Erwin had rolled over onto the ground, groaning and holding his head in his hands. Levi smiled to himself and got out of bed, walking to the kitchen to retrieve a bottle of alkaline water. When he returned Erwin was still holding his head in his hands, but this time he was back on the bed.
"Erwin, I brought you water." Levi announced. Erwin looked up at him, confusedly.
"Levi? When'd you get here?" He asked grogily, laying back down.
"Apparently I'm in your emergency contacts," Levi began. He walked over to Erwin and handed him the bottle. Erwin took off the lid weakly and chugged the water until it was gone. "--and you're a fucking dumbass. You were nearly banned from that bar." Levi snapped. Erwin chuckled slightly.
"I'm glad to know that even when you're mad at me, you're still there." Levi scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Do you remember what you said to me, last night?" Levi asked, finally deciding to bring it up. Erwin clicked his tongue and nodded, anticipating Levis' response.
"Well, I-...I feel the same. And I just wanted you to know-" Levi was cut off by Erwin grabbing him and pulling him down to the bed. He kissed Levi passionately, only allowing him to pull back for air.
"God, I hate you so much Erwin." Levi groaned as Erwin squeezed him tighter.
"I love you too." Erwin laughed lightly.
"What the fuck is this??" A female voice shouted.
Marie.
