TPP
"Erwin." Levi sighs over the phone, tangling his finger in the cold, slightly damp bedsheets.
"Fuck, Levi I-"
"You promised."
"I know I did, I'm sorry Levi."
Erwin had a habit of leaving Levi's house in the middle of the night. Levi would wake up and Erwin would be gone, having ran all the way home. He finally got fed up and yelled at the older male, the latter promised he wouldn't do it anymore.
"Do you not love me, is that what this is?"
"No I just,"
"So you're ashamed?"
"No!"
"So quit leaving me!"
"I'm sorry, okay? I just," he pauses, sighing deeply. Erwin bites his lip, trying to think of a way to phrase his thoughts. "I don't want you to get tired of seeing me every morning, Levi." Levi frowns and furrows his eyebrows. Erwin isn't really the type to share his feelings so everytime he does, it surprises Levi. He knows he's the same way, except he never opens up.
"Why would I get tired of seeing you?"
"That's how it was with my ex boyfriend.." Erwin mutters. Levi sighs. He knew better than to bring up Erwin's ex--it's always been a touchy subject for him--so it never crossed his mind Erwin was simply overthinking.
"Erwin, I am not him."
"I know, I'm sorry." Levi could practically feel Erwin's puppy eyes begging for forgiveness through the phone.
"C-can I come over? Make it up to you?" Erwin asks shyly. Levi chuckles in response before speaking. "Yeah. Hurry up, and don't leave me unless you really have to." He adds quickly at the end.
"Love you, bye." Levi finalizes his sentence.
"I love you. I'll see you soon." Erwin answers, and then the line went quiet.
Levi sighed and placed his phone on his bedside table, letting the pillows of his comfortable bed engulf him. His smile started to grow at the thought of Erwin's sad, but adorable face that he used whenever he was sorry about something.
He smiled like an idiot at the thought of Erwin staying over all night, waking up next to him and sleepily kissing him repeatedly. The thought of his strong arms wrapped around him while he slept. The thought of his beautiful face whenever he's asleep. The thought of him staying the full night and not leaving Levi alone. Just the thought of Erwin not leaving.
But he knows he will.
