Erwin's POV

I stood at the alter and scanned the seats. My mother was there with a wide smile on her face. There weren't any humans of course, as this is a vampire wedding.

I smiled as my brother's daughter skipped around and dropped frozen blood shaped like flower petals on the aisle. She hummed "here comes the bride" happily.

I couldn't help but feel a bit horrible, however. I mean- Levi was just an ordinary human. A fucking asshole- but a human. And he was only 17. I took away his experience at adulthood. He has to get married and he's only 20.

What if he doesnt like me? And hes only marrying me because he's scared of me? I immediately shook out of my thoughts as Levi walked down the aisle.

My heart thumped and I could feel the tears pooling. He majestic. He had eyeliner and his favorite pair of black heels on. His suit was utterly gorgeous.

I quickly wiped whatever tears fell down my cheeks and tried to keep it together. He stepped onto the alter and stared at me lovingly.

"Hey, nerd." His voice cracked slightly as he spoke.

I laughed slightly and he earned a few chuckles from the crowd.

The priest, who was actually my brother, began reading our vows. He looked at me after a few minutes of reading.

"I do."

"And Levi Ackerman, Do you take Erwin Smith as your lovely wedded husband, and accept your last name to be changed to Smith?"

"I do." Tears slipped out of Levi's eyes, smudging his eyeliner.

"You may now kiss the bri-" He cut himself off and looked at Levi. "groom. You may now kiss the groom."

I didn't hesitate. I pulled Levi in immediately and wrapped my arms around him. I kissed him and he wrapped his arms around my neck.

The crowd cheered, but no one was louder than my mother. She clapped and yelled as loud as she could. I pulled back from Levi and touched my forehead against his.

"I love you so much." He whispered.

The ring bearer walked down the aisle and once he reached the alter, he bowed and held the rings up high. We took them and slipped them on. I couldnt help the tears anymore and just let them fall.

Levi began to cry too and hugged me immediately. Oo's and aw's erupted from the crowd as I kissed his forehead softly.

"You're such a nerd for crying at a wedding." Levi whispered.

Before I could answer my niece shouted, "Cake time!!" while running for the cake inside. Me and him laughed as we ran after her.

Everyone watched as me and Levi cut the cake with the same knife. His hands were wrapped around the handle and mine were wrapped around his.

We cut the first slice and set it aside. I cut a piece for everyone and enjoyed my niece's face light up.

Me and Levi shared a slice with eachother, though we didn't really eat it. We just stared at eachother and held hands under the table.

"Hey, nerd." Levi said.

"Yknow Levi, now that we're married..."

"Im not calling you darling."

"Okay."
