Levi and Erwin had been together for 3 years. They began dating in highschool and broke up freshman year of college. They had quite a toxic break up, Levi was mad because Erwin wanted to leave and join the military. He knew how dangerous it was and worried for Erwin's safety, and it seemed to him Erwin didn't care about his own well-being.
Blinded by rage, Levi broke up with him and cut all contact without hesitation. Erwin's heart shattered at this, as Levi was his pride and joy. He was upset they broke up, but what hurt him the most was seeing Levi in the state he was in. The once stoic male, showing emotions shocked him, and the lip quiver was all Erwin needed to begin tearing up.
Its been 7 years since then, but the boys never forgot about eachother. Erwin thought about Levi everyday, and when he was discharged he set out looking for him. But when he consulted in his friends, they all told him Levi moved back to his hometown when Erwin had left for the military. Erwin sobbed for months because of this, as Levi was born in Asia. He was across the sea, Erwin would never see him again.
Or so he thought.
Being the miserable, cliche, blonde that Erwin is, he went to a bar. He drank away his sorrows, every short man with black hair reminding him of his ex-lover. Before he knew it, the time was 10pm. The bar was closing. Erwin stumbled out, having drank 8 beers in the 5 hours he was there. He didn't even bother driving, nor did he want to call a cab. He just began walking.
Of course, as drunk as he was, he didn't have purpose in his walk, but he was getting somewhere. He'd been walking for a while, he knew that from the burn in his thighs. He just couldn't find it in himself to stop. He had no idea where he was going, he let his subconscious take him wherever he felt was right. He was going home, but not his home. Erwin looked up at the sky, beginning to think of Levi.
He tripped on a rock and fell down a hill, a hill he did not know was there. He rolled into someones yard and grunted, using his hands to push himself up. At his movement, sensor lights came on and he groaned loudly as he saw a figure approaching the back door.
The man walked out, his face covered by a shadow. Erwin's vision was quite blurry, he could barely make out the person walking to him. He squinted as the man got closer, and realized he was squinting aswell.
"Erwin..?" The voice muttered, so deep it shocked him. How could someone so small posess such a sound?
The alcohol hit him in another wave, affecting his memory. He couldn't place who the person was, but he damn sure knew he met them before. He finally stood and towered over the man who's backyard he'd fallen into, cupping his face to study his features closely.
"Fuck--the hell are you doing?" The man yelled, pushing Erwin away. Erwin frowned in confusion, just wanting to know who this person was.
"Why..how...just why!? Why are you here? I told you years ago I wanted nothing to do with you anymore. You've left me alone for 7 goddamn years, why show up now?" The man lectured a confused Erwin, who wasn't processing why he was being yelled at. His mind drifted as the man yelled incoherently.
"You don't care about me!" Erwin's mother yelled at his father. Erwin peeked his head around the corner, holding his military-man plushie. His father stood there while she yelled, he never fought back.
She shoved him lightly and poked his chest, he didn't even flinch. She got even more pissed at his silence and tears of frustration slipped from her eyes.
"Say something!" She hollered, sobs breaking through her sentence. His father smiled and wrapped his arms through her waist, surprising his mother greatly.
Erwin's father made eye contact with him and winked, before leaning in and kissing his mother. She beat his chest in protest, frustration cracking through her love for him. But soon, she gave in and hugged him close as he wiped her tears.
"It's okay, my love. It's going to be okay." He whispered between kisses. She just nodded, melting in his arms. Erwin smiled.
A hard shove that almost knocked him over ripped him out of that memory. He wondered why he was able to remember that but not the 5'4 little gremlin that was yelling at him. And then it hit Erwin.
When his mother was mad, his father fixed it with a kiss. Fixed it..with a kiss. The alcohol overwhelmed him, he began to lean down. Levi, still in his angry rant, failed to notice this.
Fix it with a kiss.
Erwin leaned down further, wrapping his arms around the mans waist just like his father did. He heard the small man yelp in some surprise, and he had to bend down a little to get on his level. He felt a push on his chest, but he persisted anyway. Their lips touched, and everything came back in an instant.
The kiss was boring at first, Erwin squeezing Levi tight, who punched his chest over and over. But when everything registered, he put passion into his kiss. He licked Levi's lips, ravishing them while the smaller of the two gave in and pushed their bodies together. He opened his mouth and Erwin stuck his tongue in subconsciously. He backed Levi up into a wall, grabbing and touching whatever Levi would let him.
Anger began to pour into their kiss when Levi remembered how damn mad he was at Erwin. Blonde hair swayed as Erwin pulled away and breathed heavily, but Levi was having none of it.
He gripped Erwin's shirt and pulled him back down, their teeth clashing as Levi kissed Erwin roughly. Erwin made a noise in his throat of surprise and they stumbled into Levi's house, shutting the door and locking it behind them. They crashed into a table, and Levi hiked his leg up to Erwin's waist. Erwin was beginning to sober up, and he suddenly remembered what his friends had said.
"Wait, Levi." He said. Levi pulled back and stared up at Erwin, breathing heavily.
"I-I thought you moved back to Asia? Our friends told me so.." Levi raised an eyebrow before furrowing them once he put the pieces together.
"No, I told them I was moving to Asia. It's the name of this town, didn't you know that? I mean, considering you found my address and drove here." Levi presumed.
Erwin shook his head. "I got drunk and wandered here. I guess I didn't realize how long I'd been walking for." He responded, running his hand along Levi's thigh.
"Jesus, you walked all the way here? Erwin that's 280 miles away!" He shouts, punching Erwin in the chest.
Back in highschool, that would have wore Erwin the fuck out. But after all that intense training, it seemed like nothing to him. Erwin laughed and wrapped his hands around Levi's waist, pulling him down to the couch with him. They were silent, taking eachother in after 7 years of deprivation. Erwin laid back, his neck on the arm rest. Levi situated himself, recognizing this position from years ago.
He put his leg between Erwin's much larger ones and put all his weight onto Erwin, laying comfortably. He wrapped his arms around Erwin's neck and smiled, his fingers naturally guiding themselves to Erwin's hair.
"We...we really need to talk, Erwin." Levi sighed, brushing hair out of Erwin's face.
"I know...but I wanna ask you something first." Erwin said. Levi swallowed and nodded, signaling for Erwin to ask his question.
"Have you moved on..?"
