"Summer, do you have to cry?"
I couldn't focus on what I was doing. I was trying to read my lessons so that I could add more inside my stocked knowledge. Mom and her younger sister which was my tita left her 4 year old daughter in the house.
There was no one to look after the child so they told me to look after the child instead. I personally think I couldn't do it but they forced me to!
Kanina pa naglalaro ng Roblox si Summer. I don't know if that's the app but it sounded like that. Rob... Roblox. I'm right. I think that's a popular app among the children.
She tried to give me the phone, hoping I would help her with the game but I refused to accept it. I'm also busy! I can't do the game!
"Ate," she cried. "Please, one last."
I stared at her. I don't think she's hungry or sleepy because she just ate and slept.
"Subukan mo ulit gawin, Summer. You can do it, don't get frustrated. Don't cry." I told her, patting her shoulder. She was sitting on the bed with her iPad.
"Hindi ko po magawa," she pouted.
"You can do that. Huwag kang umiyak. I bent my knees down in front of her.
"Ngayon na..." Tears started to flow down her cheeks once again. Hindi ko talaga 'to kaya!
"Summer, if you can't do it, do you have to cry?" I asked her. She doesn't answer.
It was Elias, holding a tray of snacks.
"Oh? "Pinaiyak mo, 'no?"
Sinamaan ko naman siya ng tingin. "Do you really think I would do that to her? She's my niece, Elias."
I stood up and went back to my study table to stuff some foods inside my mouth while Elias was the one to talk to Summer. Elias was on his knees while looking at Summer's iPad.
"Ano ba 'yan?" He asked.
"Rob... Roblox." Summer answered, panting.
"Mahirap ba 'yan?" Elias asked.
Are they free to do that?
"Kuya... Please... Laro..." She extended her arm to give the iPad to Elias.
"No, Elias." I stopped him. Nilingon niya naman ako. Halatang naaawa sa bata. "You can't accept that.
