"Elias! You're so heartless!"

Nagsitawanan ang mga kaibigan ko nang isigaw ko 'yun kasabay ng pagtungga sa isa pang shot ng Tequila. I didn't know how many shots I've done because I don't count! I just shot!

"Broken hearted pa si birthday girl!" Jana, my girl friend shouted while pouring another drink on my glass. Hinayaan ko siyang gawin 'yun.

"He was so cruel!" I added before turning another shot down.

"Hayaan mo na 'yun, Chanty! You're 20! You can find another man!"

"He's different, Zo!" I covered my face when I felt water dropping from my eyes. Oh, I'm crying! I'm so stupid to even show a tear!

"My God. Mahal niya na ba?" I heard Jana asked.

"Shut up, Jana." Pagpigil ni Jia bago ko naramdaman na hinawakan niya ang likod ko para aluhin. "Just cry,"

"He's so... bad..." I started ranting. "He doesn't like me, Jia!"

"Don't worry, he will like you eventually!" I heard Jana said, trying to comfort me with lies.

"He'll never, Jana. Kung nakita mo lang kung paano niya sabihin sa 'kin na hindi niya 'ko masasamahan dahil day-off niya!" My voice broke.

"Jana! Stop talking! You're making her cry even more!" Saway ulit ni Jia.

"But that's how it works, Jia!"

"Shut up! Baka ihagis kita sa labas, tignan mo!" Jia answered, starting to lose her temper.

"Oh my god, it hurts so bad." Daing ko pa ulit habang hawak ang dibdib ko.

"Just cry," Jia kept on rubbing my back.

I pouted before removing my hands on my face. Tumingin ako kay Jia, nakita ko kung gaano siya ka-concern sa 'kin dahil sa mata niya.

"Am I ugly?" I started crying again.

"Of course not! Don't doubt yourself just because of a stupid guy!" Jia answered.

"Bakit hindi niya pa rin ako gusto?!" Sumigaw ako at lumingon sa table para kumuha pa ng isang shot.

"I think you've had enough already, Cha. That's enough." Pagsaway ni Jia at akmang kukuhanin ang baso mula sa kamay ko pero nilayo ko 'yun sa kaniya.

"Kulang pa! Masakit pa rin!" Sabi ko bago inumin ang laman ng baso.

I sobbed while looking nowhere, kanina pa ako lumulunok at sinusubukang pigilan ang luha ko. It's my night! Why am I crying?! Ano ba kasing mali?! Am I... not his type? Hindi ba talaga? I thought we were getting on to something!

But we're not!

"Pour me another! Oh my gosh! I'm over thinking!"

Jana poured me another shot until things gets blurry for me already.

"Jana, what can I do for him to like me back?!" I asked Jana desperately. She's an expert! I'm sure she can answer!

"Take your clothes off!" Tatawa sana siya pero binatukan siya ni Jia. "Aray!"

"No! That's not how it works, Chantal! Don't do that!" Tinuro ako ni Jia para balaan ako.

I shut my eyes. I think my head was starting to burst! I wish for more alcohol! I went to the counter to ask for more drinks. My eyesight's slowly getting blurry but I can still manage!
