"Ano daw? Ano sabi mo?"

I took a deep sigh after telling Clark about my relationship with Elias. I told him that Elias was the father of my child, Alas. Napahawak ako sa sentido ko habang nakatingin sa mukhang takang-taka pa rin hanggang ngayon.

We were inside the small office in the site, lunch time kaya napag-isipan ko na sabihin na sa kaniya ang totoo. Tungkol sa kung ano ang mayroon kami ni Elias.

"Engineer Elias Davis is the father of my child, Clark. Naiintindihan mo ba 'ko?" I tilted my head a bit.

Nagparte ang labi ni Clark pero maya-maya pa tumango naman siya, mukhang naiintindihan niya na ngayon.

"So, mag-asawa pala kayo ni Engineer Davis all this time tapos hinahayaan mo lang ako na landi-landiin ka sa harap niya?" He dramatically gasped. "Mabuti hindi siya short tempered! Hindi ako nasuntok sa mukha!"

I rolled my eyes and showed my hand to him. "We're not married."

"Yet?" He asked. "So, pwede pa tayo?"

My brows furrowed. "What are you saying? We don't like each other."

Natahimik siya at mahinang natawa. Napaisip naman ako, Elias and I made love for many times already! Tapos wala naman kaming label! I should ask him later about our status in each other's lives! Ano 'to, summer fling?

Sabay kaming umuwi ni Elias noong dumating ang hapon. I was silent the whole ride home, I was practicing my line on how should I ask him about our status inside my head, kanina pa 'ko paulit-ulit. Siguro napansin niya ang pagkatahimik ko, kanina ko pa napapansin na lumilingon siya sa 'kin.

"Keep your eyes on the road, Elias," sabi ko sa kaniya tsaka saglit na sumulyap.

"Yeah, I am keeping my eyes on the road. But," he paused. "Okay ka lang? Napansin kong kanina ka pa tahimik diyan. May problema ba?"

I gulped and glanced at his side. "Well, I have something inside my head that's bothering me. I want to ask you about it o clear my head."

"Go on." He said, glancing.

"Ano ba tayo?" Napahawak ako sa seatbelt nang bigla niyang ihinto sa gilid ng kalsada ang sasakyan. I stared at him, confused on why he pulled over.

He put his hand on my seat, staring at me while his head was a bit tilted. Maya-maya pa ay lumabas ang maikling ngiti sa labi niya.

"Because.. you know, we already did what lovers do. I mean.. sex. We had sex already. Hindi ko alam kung ano ba tayo. Baka mamaya biglang madagdagan si Alas tapos magkaroon na naman tayo ng conflict. Mas okay na alam ko kung ano ako sa buhay mo." I pouted after explaining. Ang haba ng sinasabi ko!

His brows arched. "Ano ka ba sa tingin mo sa buhay ko, Chantal?"

My brows furrowed. "I'm the mother of your child."

"You're the mother of my child." Tumigil siya. "You're my one and only."

Nagparte ang labi ko. "One and only ano? One and only kabit? One and only fling? Ano?"

"Do you want to be my girlfriend again? Do you want to come back to me?" He softly asked, leaning closer to me.

Natigilan ako. "Well.."
