"What the hell..."

I woke up very early today. Naabutan ko pang bumangon si Elias, but I had to pretend like I was still asleep just to avoid talking to him. I felt embarrassed of what we did last night. I mean... Embarrassed because I was the one to initiate the sex!

But I had no choice but go out to eat breakfast because my stomach keeps on growling, kanina pa. Nakasabit sa balikat ko ang towel ko, balak ko munang maligo bago kumain para fresh ako. I already smell different! Bakit kaya?

"Oh, tamang tama. Kumain na tayo." He told me when he saw me coming, kakatapos niya lang magluto. May hawak pang pan at kutsara.

"Ah.. I.. I'm going to take a bath first," I avoided his gaze.

"Hindi tayo magsasabay?"

"What?" Maligo?

"Kumain. Hindi tayo sabay kakain?"

My gosh, Chantal! What's happening to you?! Lutang ka ba? Ayusin mo! Nakakahiya na nga ang sitwasyon mas lalo mo pang pinapahiya ang sarili mo! Pull yourself together, please!

"Ah, okay. I'll take a bath first but we'll eat together after." I told him before running towards the bathroom.

I held my chest tightly after closing the door shut. I bit my lower lip, thinking of all the words I said last night.

'I want to do it with you.'

'Let's do this.'

'I'm ready for you.'

"Fuck!" I cursed when I felt the hot water on my skin. Napahawak kaagad ako sa braso ko para tignan 'yon nang may maramdamang mahapdi. It caused a burn on my arm! I didn't measure the water because I was thinking about last night! Ano ba naman!

"Chantal," napalingon ako sa pinto nang kumatok si Elias doon. "Chantal. Okay ka lang? Ano ang nangyari? Bakit ka sumisigaw?"

I gulped. "Ah, I forgot to measure the water. I... My arm had a small burn."

"Huh?" He muttered. "Papasok ako, okay lang?"

"Uh," I paused, hinanap ko ang tuwalya para takpan ang sarili ko. "Okay, you can get in."

He got inside the bathroom. He scanned me from head to toe before walking towards me. I showed my arm to him and he gently held it to look at the burn. Pinanood ko ang reaksyon niya habang hindi siya nakatingin sa 'kin.

"Sobrang hapdi?" He asked, nahuli ang tingin ko kaya naman kaagad akong nag-iwas ng tingin.

"Uh," I faked a cough. "Yes. Masakit."

"Bakit ka umiiwas ng tingin?" Napansin niya pa atsaka pilit na hinuli ang tingin ko.

I looked at him. "Hindi naman, ah?"

His eyes squinted. "Okay."

"Sige..." I gestured him to go out when he let go of my arm. Tumango siya atsaka ako tinalikuran.

Hindi ko na ininda ang paso sa braso ko at pinagpatuloy na lang ang pagligo. Good thing, it was not that serious at nag fade lang din ang intensive na pamumula. When I went out from the bathroom to go to the kithen, Elias immediately stood up from his chair to pull a chair for me.
