Logan

I'm so fucking proud of her.

The way Aurora stood up for herself made me so pleased. The feeling I have when I'm with her fucking scares the shit out of me.

I told myself I would never be in a relationship again but I can't just be friends with her. I want to kiss her everytime I see her, I want her to be able to open up to me. I want to hold her in my arms every night.

I'm currently waiting at the gym for Aurora to show up, it's Monday so we have our PT session today. I honestly can't wait to see her face.

It reaches 2.08pm and she still isn't here. I pull out my phone but see no new messages.

I send her a quick text asking if she is on her way, hoping her Uber is stuck in traffic or something.

Looking again at the clock it reaches 2.25pm.

I decide to give her a call.

"Hey! I'm here! Sorry I'm late." Aurora comes running into gym.

Instant relief floods my body and I start to relax seeing her face.

I slide my phone back into my pocket and step towards her.

"Hey, I was just calling you. I thought you were standing me up." My fingers skimming her waist I lean my head to peck her cheek but to my surprise she pulls her head away quickly and directs her eyes away from me.

Well done Logan. Fucking things up already with her.

"Sorry, I just-"

I cut her off, she has nothing to apologise for. "No I'm sorry. I'm just happy to see you." I shove my fists into my pockets as I fight the urge to touch her again. She looks beautiful today, her hair tied up in a messy bun, a bright green matching sports bra and leggings on that cling to her ass perfectly.

"How about we have a chat after my session?" Aurora says placing her bag down as she glances at me.

I gulp. This doesn't sound too fucking promising.

"Yeah." I nod.

"So, I've been thinking about what happened over the weekend." She starts. We are sat in our usual seats in The Coffee Pocket. I've started to really like coming here.

I honestly can't tell which way this is going to go. I really want to ask her out and spend more time with her outside of the gym but I know we both have a lot to overcome before we think about being in a relationship.

"Me too, and-"

"Please, let me finish or I might not get it out." She takes a deep breath.

"Alright." I clench my fists in preparation for her telling me she doesn't want anything more with me.

"I really like you Logan, and I need to give myself a chance to be happy."

She stares into my eyes as she speaks. I actually have a shot of being with her.

"I like you too Aurora."

She chuckles, taking a sip out of her mug.

"So does this mean I can take you out on our first date now?" I smirk at her. My heart thumping in my chest. I finally get a chance with my girl.

"I would like that."

"How about tomorrow night if your free?"

"Yeah, I'm not working tomorrow."
