Another glorious Social Season night, another extravagant ball but only this time, it was hosted by the Queen herself. The magnificent Soiree that will forever be incomparable. The gardens were eerily quiet and deserted but that did not mean that every single family of the ton was not at the Soiree, in fact, they happily enjoyed themselves within the modest mansion as music filtered past the doors that were opened by the royal guards.

(y/n) walked in with her sister and the Hargreeves' family, her head held high as she ignored the passive-aggressive look from Five who stood next to her. Couples were waltzing together on the dancefloor, the guards announcing the presence of the Hargreeves and the (l/n) family as everyone walked down the stairs except for Five and (y/n). The Viscountess watched over her sister as she gained the attention of every eligible man and she was happy with the outcome.

"Are you just going to stand there like some old prude?" Five smirks lightly at his jest at the girl next to him who sneered at him. He would be lying to himself if he didn't think that the Viscountess looked beautiful in her gown.

"Say whatever you want about me but remember my words, stay away from my sister." she seethes before walking past Five and bumping into his shoulder. He falters from the movement, his senses filled with the glorious floral scent that drifted from the oldest sister, that heavenly lily scent that made his head spin and has him leaving the room whenever she was residing in it or he would not be able to contain himself.

(y/n) walked towards her sister and Lady Grace, all three bowing before the Queen who smiles at them. "I do hope you are finding everything in town to your satisfaction, Viscountess (l/n)."

"Indeed I am your Majesty. This town is absolutely beautiful."

"I am pleased to hear that. Enjoy your night ladies." The Queen nods to the girls before they walk off again to let her and Lady Grace talk. Five was on the other side of the room, drinking whiskey with his brothers as he scowled at the lack of eligible ladies that were to his standard. His eyes cast over the girls before pausing at the Viscountess, seeing her smile as she talked with her little sister. She only smiled around her and what a lovely smile it was. The softness of her lips turned up slightly took Five's breath away as this was the first time he saw (y/n) smile with actual joy in her eyes.

"Is there finally a lady that has managed to catch your attention brother?" Luther muses and quickly diverts his gaze, glaring at his oldest brother.

"Hush, you." Five walks off before he could get pulled into a dance, looking busy as he held his drink and stood closer to the sisters that talked together.
