'Its hopeless, I'm hopeless.' sera told him dropping her head onto his chest he gentle brought his hands up to her, running his hands along her arms. 'maybe I'm a lost cause?' she suggested, 'I mean you did say that no lords or ladies were faceless people right? Cause we are a bunch of pussies with no skills only money. Maybe I cant do this!'

'you just need more time.' jaqen told her. she looked up to at him.

'maybe you should just drop me off somewhere and I can find my way to the fingers, maybe they will marry my off to one of the cousins, shelby I think is the name Thomas or John perhaps maybe thats the life I am meant for.'

'no.' he told her.

'I don't think I'm cut out for this.' sera informed him. 'I'm not like you.'

'you are not that person. You don't want to be that person. Someone's wife and property you want to be your own person, or am I mistaken? Are you still that weak girl? Forever to be weak and someone elses?' she took a deep breath standing up straight.

'no.' she agreed.

'good.' a ghost of a smile on his lips he picked up his bow staff. 'again.'

It had been moons of training and Sera wasn't aching with every hit anymore. She was able to walk and move and breathe again after training. She was stronger, her muscles defined and her confidence boosted. Jaqen had done what he told her he would but he still declared that she was not no one. She didn't understand. She cleansed the bodies even peeled the faces back, that made her sick the first time Jaqen showed her.

He tranced a finger along the mans face and she took a sharp blade cutting along the face. He showed her how to peel the face from the muscles and bone. He showed her who it was cleaned and then he wore the mans face. She looked back at the body, the face she just helped remove and back to Jaqen. It looked perfect. She didn't understand it. He pulled it back revealing his face. Or what sera assumed was his face. She didn't actually know. Perhaps this wasn't him. Perhaps his name was even Jaqen H'ghar. Perhaps it was a name and a face that he liked best. She wanted to ask but she knew she wouldn't get an answer he would tell her that she was no one. But still her mind wandered.

He held the face in his hands before bringing her to the room of faces. It was disgusting and beautiful all at the same time. All of these faces, masks, they were people once. They were people still. Their faces used and reused again and again to get what the Faceless God wanted. But who spoke to the faceless God? How did they know what he wanted?

'how many are there?' Jaqen glanced back at her as he positioned the face in a spot on the wall. 'how many faces are there? here?' sera questioned.

'1, 236.' Jaqen told her.

'including you and me?' she teased. He smiled back at her before walking out. 'does this I'm-'

'no.' he said before she could finish.

'no.' she repeated nodding. 'right... who is the faceless God?' Jaqen let out a sigh as he stepped outside, Sera followed him. 'how am I supposed to follow someone I know nothing of? How am I supposed to become no one, if I don't know what no one serves? Their purpose?' she countered.

'The faceless God or the Many-Faced God...' Jaqen told her shedding his clothes and diving into the water she quickly followed after him. 'He is also known as the God of Death.'

'that's why you are training me to fight.'

'to kill.' He corrected swimming up next to her. 'He is a deity,' jaqen told her. 'his followers are his vessel,' jaqen said his hands grazing along her body, only the water separating them.

'Assassins.' Sera corrected. He nodded once, yes. He was an assassin but for a good cause. The only cause worth living.

'A man is a Faceless Man, a girl can be a faceless man as well.' Jaqen told her.

'that's the man dominated society I was trying to aviod.' She reminded him. 'I can be a faceless woman?' she questioned.

'in time.' He agreed.

'and you believe that through assassinations you, a man, a faceless man are doing his work?' sera questioned trying to understand.

'I know that through others death I am serving the many faced God.' Jaqen told her.

'I think I might like that.' she told him.

'you are not ready.' He told her simply.

'will I ever be ready?' she countered.

'you are still Seraphina Lannister. You need to be no one. You need to leave her in the past.'
