"To save me" I asked as I looked up at belos

"What?" Belos turned to look at me as if he was confused

"To save me. . . You got her so that way she could save me. . . . right?" I said as I felt my chest tighten up

Belos looked at me for a few seconds and then started laughing

"You can't be serious!" Belos said as he slowly stopped laughing

"What's so funny?" I asked belos while trying to figure out what was going on

"There's no way you actually thought I was going to have a WILD WITCH be your protector!" Belos said as he turned back around

"Wait. . . A wild witch!" I said as if I didn't already know

"I figured you would haven't know she was a wild witch since y'all seemed REALLY close" Belos said while walking over to the throne in the center of the room

'I did know, but not because I found out she told me! And if course were close she means everything to me. . . she's literally my everything. . . .' I thought to myself as my chest tightened even more

"We weren't close, she just wouldn't leave me alone" I said in a monotone voice

"Good you've proved to me that she was no good, it's probably a good thing that the cursed witch is gone!" Belos said with a smile on his face as if he was proud

"You're right Belos, she was a monster" I said trying to sound as serious as possible

'I feel so bad for saying that. . .' I thought to myself as my heart hurt

"Exactly, I'm glad that she didn't corrupt you Hunter, remember the Titan has great plans for you! You're dismissed" Belos said as he turned away and waved me off

I nodded and walked out of the throne room and started heading towards my room

'I can't let Belos find out that she wasn't actually kidnapped, or he'll. . . Hurt her and take her away from me!' I thought to myself as I walked into my room determined to protect F/n

(Back at the Owl House - F/n's P.O.V)

"Eda!" I said as I walked into the kitchen and sneezed

"Ew, kiddo are your allergies getting to you?" She asked as she sipped her apple blood

"I don't think so, but I've been sneezing over and over since Hunter left!" I said as I walked over and sat in the counter in front of Eda

"Maybe lover boys talking about you!" Eda said with a smile

"Lover boy?" I asked while looking at her really confused

"Uhh yeah, Ya know Hunter?" Eda said as if I was supposed to know that she was talking about him

"He's not my Lover boy Eda! He's just. . . A really good friend!" I said as I hopped off the counter

"Uh huh, and Rein's Husband!" She said as she snorted

"He might as well be!" I said with a smile as I walked towards the stairs

"You little!" Eda said with a really red face as she threw her boot at me

"HA MISSED!" I yelled as I ran up the stairs laughing

(Next morning - F/n's P.O.V)

"F/n!" Luz ran into the room screaming

"Wha! I wasn't sleeping I swear!" I shot up clearly looking like I was asleep

"Uh huh, well anyways you NEED to get dress and come outside!" Luz said with a smile like she knew something

"Fine! I'm coming just get out so I can change" I said with a smile as I threw my pillow at her

Luz started laughing and walked out of the room

After I finished changing I walked into the living room and saw that Luz was standing in front of the opened door

"Luz you're letting all the bugs in!" I said as I started to walk over to the door and Luz stepped to the side

Hunter was standing in the door way with something behind his back

"So I'm a bug now?" He asked with a smile on his face

"Hunter! What are you doing here?" I said as I ran up to him

"I came to see Luz I didn't even know that you were here!" Hunter said in a sarcastic tone as he rolled his eyes

"Right" I said and laughed a bit "But seriously! You don't have patrol today so won't they know that you're gone?"

"Nope, nobody comes into my room on the days that I'm supposed to be there since I'm usually doing paper work" Hunter said as he stepped closer to me

"So you used that to your advantage and came to see me" I said as I smiled and my face started to heat up

"Yep!" Hunter hugged me tightly and whispered "I also wanted to ask you something. . ."

My face got really hot as I hugged him back and whispered "okay then I'll follow you"

We stopped hugging and just smiled at each other for a few seconds

"Luz and F/n are hearing out now" Hunter said as he took my hand

"Okay byeeeeeeee" Luz said as she shut the door behind her

"Wait, she knew you came to take me somewhere!" I said really shocked that I wasn't already told

"Yep and I bribed her so she wouldn't tell you before I got there" Hunter looked at me like he was really proud of himself

"That's why she was so secretive about why she needed me outside!" I said as I looked at Hunter

I followed Hunter for a little while still holding onto his hand, when we went through a set of trees and saw the most beautiful view of the ocean

"Omg Hunter this is beautiful!" I said while smiling and looking at the view

Hunter grabbed my hands and put his hand in my chin to look at him

"Y/n. . . Do you want to. . .-

A/n - AAAAAAND CLIFFHANGER!!!! If y'all have been reading this for long you know how I am with cliffhangers and honestly THIS is the best one I've done so far!! But besides that I actually managed to get the chapter done faster then I thought I was going too, and it was all because I have sitting in not moving at all traffic!
