(Hunter's P.O.V)

"Yeah well, If you had told me sooner that she had feelings for me or at least hinted towards it I would have been able to ask her out a lot sooner!" I said to Luz 

"Wha! Hunter, where would the fun have been if I just told you she liked you?! Also, I DID hint to you that she had feelings for you SEVERAL TIMES!" Luz said while smacking her hands together

"Now that I think about it she did hint to BOTH of us" [F/n] said while walking up beside of me

"Where did you come from?!" I jumped slightly and looked at [F/n]

"From upstairs?" [F/n] said while trying not to laugh 

Suddenly there is a knock at the door causing all of us to look towards the door and then back at each other

"Luz noceda, [F/n] [middle name] Clawthorne! You two better open this door!" Eda screams from outside the door

"[Middle name]?" I said with a slight smirk while side eyeing her

"Don't. Even. Think about it!" [F/n] cut me off really quick like she knew I was going to start calling her that

Luz opened the door and Eda walked in looking like we just told the emperor where she was

"Where have you two been?!" Eda said while crossing her arms and looking back and forth between [F/n] and Luz

"Well~, Hunter wanted [F/n] to come with him to this beautiful area so he could ask her out but he came early which I didn't question at first, but probably should have now that I think about it" Luz was explaining the story and started getting sidetracked

"Yeah you really should have, Hunter is NEVER early to things you'd be lucky if he shows up on time" [F/n] said with a smile while rolling her eyes

"Oh shut up! I was late one time!" I said while punching her in the shoulder slightly

"3 times actually" [F/n] said as Eda cleared her throat"

"Oh right, turns out [F/n] left with Adrian Graye Vernworth himself-" Luz got cut off by Eda as she uncrossed her arms looking shocked

"Adrian Graye Vernworth? Like the head witch on the illusion coven?!Walked to a place alone with [F/N]!"

"Yeah!" Luz said while looking at Eda

"What would he want with you anyways!" Eda started to look slightly concerned

"He... Asked me to join the emperor's coven again, and when I refused to he tried to help me up but didn't have his hand angled right so I was able to see the emperor's coven logo on the glove before I grabbed his hand" [F/n] said while rubbing her other arm

"So he was trying to put you into the coven without you noticing so one, you would be under the emperor's control and you wouldn't have a choice but to go back" Eda looked at the ground and then slowly back up at me after putting the dots together

"I think we should ask the Bat Queen to stay here I little longer, just to make sure [F/n] is safe" I said while taking my time to look at every person in the room

"That's a good idea, Eda can you go to the Bat Queen about this. I can stay with [F/n] to make sure she's safe" Luz said while putting a hand on [F/n]'s back with a smile

"I can stay too" I said but was quickly shut down on it

Luz dhoock her head and said "I don't think that's a good idea, if you dissapear for a while after being seen with me by Adrian, won't th3 Emperor's guard come looking for you? That would just put [F/n] in even more risk then she already is"
