|Chapter 19|

"Y/n. . . Do you want to" Hunter for cut off by something moving in the bushes

"Who's there's!" I turn my head to look at the bushes where the noise came from

There was whispering coming from the bushes, as I walked over towards it

I looked behind the bush and saw Luz and her two friends

"Really Luz" I said as I sighed and looked back at Hunter

"Its just Luz and her two friends!" I said as Hunter put his hand on his face

"We have name ya know!" The boy said as he looked  at me with his arms crossed

"And I don't care to learn them" I said while walking back over to Hunter

"What were you going to ask me?" I looked at Hunter who was slightly red now

"Do you. . ." Hunter glanced over at the three standing there and got even more red

"Do I?" I ask while looking at Hunter confused

"I-It's not important. . ." He said as he sat on the edge of he cliff looking out at the water

I sigh as my heart hurt slightly 'I thought he was finally gonna ask me out. . .' I thought to myself as I looked back at the three standing in the distance

"Will you three please leave!" I yelled as they looked at Luz

"Yeah. . . We'll go!" Luz said as if she knew something was supposed to happen and it didn't

I looked back at Hunter after they left and just starred at the back of his head

I sat down next to him and looked at the water in front of us "You know their gone now. . . So if you still wanna ask me that question, I'm all ears!"

Hunter looked at me with pink still on his cheeks "Are you sure their gone?"

I nod at him with a warm smile "I'm pretty sure Luz left with them, she looked slightly disappointed when she left though. . ."

"I was wondering if, there was a chance that you could. . . Join a coven. . . Like maybe the Bard coven?" He asked as I looked at him quickly

"Wait what?! Hunter are you serious! I just got out of being apart of a coven! There's no way I'm going back! You, Eda, and. . ." I cut myself off as I looked at Hunter

I slowly started backing away from him, as he stood up and looked at me conceded "What is it f/n?" 

"You're not Hunter. . ." I said as I stopped backing up once I got a good distance away from him

"F/n, what are you talking about! Of course it's me!" Hunter said while walking towards me

"Don't think I don't know who you are!" I said while backing up to keep the same distance away from him

"F/n trust me! It's me! Who else would I be?!" Hunter said as he started to look a little annoyed

"You can't trick me again. . . Adrian Graye Vernworth" I said with a stern look on my face

(Back at the Owl house - Luz's P.O.V)

There was a knock at the door and I was confused because if it was F/n she would knock

I walked up to the door and opened it "Hello?"

I looked out the door to see Hunter standing right in front of me with no F/n

I stepped out of the door and closed it behind me "Hunter? Where's f/n?" I asked while looking around

"What do you mean? I thought she was here? You agreed to help me ask her that question I told you about" Hunter said while looking at me confused

"You already came by, like this morning! You were just with F/n me, Gus, and Willow JUST saw you with her!" I said starting to get a little worried

"I was on an last minute mission this morning? I just finished the mission so I could head over here" Hunter said as he thought for a second

"I swear that me, Gus and Willow literally JUST saw you with F/n!" I said while looking at a worried Hunter

"Adrian Vernworth!" He said as his mood change drastically

"Who?" I asked while looking at Hunter really confused

"The Head Witch of the Illusion coven!" Hunter said as he started to slightly Hyperventilate

"Hunter, Calm down! I know where they are but we have to be quick! It's been an hour since I last saw her!" I said while starting to run into the woods

"I hope we're not to late!" Hunter said as he ran after me

(When they got there - Hunter's P.O.V)

We ran past the last tree that was in our way of the place where F/n is but when we got there we didn't see anyone

"F/n!" Luz yelled as I ran up to the edge of the cliff

Luz walked up beside of me and looked down "What is it?"

I looked carefully at the bottom of the cliff and saw someone laying at the bottom "F/n!"

Luz covered her mouth as she looked like she was about to cry "Oh my god. . ."

I called for flapjack as he turned into a staff and I flew down there with Luz

we both ran up to the body that was laying in front of us

"It really in F/n. . . I should have stayed! I had a feeling something was up!" Luz looked like she was blaming herself as she started to cry

I sat down next to F/n not saying anything as I held back tears while looking at her body

"I never got to tell her that I love her. . ." I said as tears started to fall from my eyes

I looked over at Luz and saw that she wasn't crying anymore

She was just staring at F/n as if she was looking at something completely different from before

(A/n - AAAAAND Yet another amazing cliffhanger!! I know, I know ya'll hate when I leave the Chapters off on cliffhangers like these! BUT I can't help it! Im a sucker or a cliffhanger!
