During the mission (Y/n's POV)
Hunter and I had just ducked into the alleyway, the guard he taunted a few minutes prior close behind us. I had my hand under his mask to cover his mouth, to make sure that no unneeded noises got us caught.
More heat than normal started to grow from underneath his mask "He's blushing. . . At a time like this?!" I thought to myself
Now wasn't the time to call him out even though it would be funny, I'll just have to do it later.
"Why are you-" The moment I took my hand off of Hunter's mouth he yelled at me, this caught the attention of a nearby guard.
When the guard started making their way towards the alleyway in which we were, I was quick to cover his mouth again. Using my free hand to make an illusion of Hunter and I running out of the alleyway and into the streets.
A few moments passed and I hadn't heard any guards so I looked back at Hunter and slowly took my hand off of his mouth. "What the hell was that?!" I flipped up my mask so he could see just how annoyed I was.
"I thought they would have been gone, and you had pinned me against a damn wall! What did you want me to say!" Hunter started to sound extremely embarrassed and worked up, I rolled my eyes and flipped my mask back over my face.
"How are we expected to get out of here!" Hunter asked, We has carefully made our way out of the alleyway. Staying along the wall so people would notice us right away, and if a guard came along we could go back into another alleyway.
"The papers said that the force field that protected the item was built like a cylinder, correct?" I glanced over my shoulder as I spoke. Hunter simply nodded so I continued speaking, "There is a high chance that the top of said force field could be opened."
Hunter must have known where I was going with the comment. "I know an air shaft that connects from the outside, into the room, Maybe we can use that."
I nodded, Hunter stepped in front of me to lead the way in the direction we needed to go to reach the vent.
Hunter and I started to walk along the edge of a building that looked extremely similar to every other building in the area. Hunter stopped me by placing a hand on my shoulder, I turned to look at him as he spoke. "I'll wait here, you get the item and get out quickly. Alright?"
"Be safe, I shouldn't be long." I climb into the air shaft and make my way through it. After a few moments of crawling I find myself right over the force field.
As we suspected there was not a top part to the force field, just tall walls in a cylindrical shape. I drew a circle into the air and a rope began to fall out of the magic circle and onto the floor of the vent.
I tie one end of the rope around the bars on the vent door and drop the other end into the force field. As I make my way down the rope I look around for any guards that are possibly in the room.
None of the guards were looking at the force field or the item, they were facing the door. They were walking, talking, and their breathing was abnormally slow. "Something isn't right." I thought to myself as I made my way down the rope a little faster.
I carefully grabbed the item and replaced it with something of the same weight before climbing back up the rope and into the air vent. I placed the item into my hair, pulled up the rope, and drew a circle around the rope so it would disappear.
