Chapter Six.
The boys had two weeks off from their tour. They were all going back to Australia to see their families, and Calum had decided he was going to see Eleanor to talk to her. He was worried she might have moved on already, but Michael had convinced him that there was no way she would have already found someone else.
They were currently on the plane for the ride home to Australia. Calum had his head rested against the window, watching as they flew through clouds. He was thinking through what he wanted to say to Eleanor when he saw her, but everything seemed so cheesy and cliché.

Calum was now currently stood outside Eleanor's house, staring at her front door. He was trying to build up enough courage to knock on the door, and was still trying to figure out what he was going to say. There had only been one time before, that he had been so nervous knocking on her door; that was when he was picking her up for their first date, three years ago. He smiled at the memory, and decided if he could do it then, then he could definitely do it now. Before he could back out, Calum knocked on the door.
Normally, he would have used the knock that they had come up with so they knew who was at the door but he didn't do that today; he wanted to know for sure she would open the door.
A couple minutes had passed before the door eventually opened, revealing a boy Calum didn't recognise.
Calum frowned, "Who are you?" he asked, almost immediately. Why was this strange boy at Eleanor's house?
"Who are you?" The boy asked straight back, ignoring Calum's question.
"I asked first" Calum shot back, narrowing his eyes.
"Aaron" the boy replied.
"Calum" Aaron raised his eyebrows, now having the face to the name of the boy who he had heard very little about, but enough to know who he was.
As soon as Calum had introduced himself he asked if Eleanor was home. Aaron reluctantly let him in, telling him she was in her bedroom. Calum headed straight up there, and once again hesitated at the door. Did he knock, or not? He normally didn't knock, but considering they weren't together anymore it was probably appropriate to do so. He took a deep breath to calm his nerves, before knocking.
"Aaron you don't have to- Calum?" she was surprised to see him there. She wasn't expecting to see him for another two months; at least. "W-what are you doing here?" Calum suddenly felt sick to the stomach and his mouth suddenly went dry. This was the first time they had been in the same room since they had broken up.
"I-I wanted to see you. I missed you" he admitted, lowering his head to look at the floor. Eleanor had been wondering if he missed her at all, and now she knew. She lowered her head also, not sure what to tell him. She missed him too, but she was with Aaron now. She was slowly becoming happy again, and everyone could see it.
"Calum... You broke up with me for your career, I'm with Aaron now" she confessed. She lifted her head, as did Calum, and their eyes met.
"What?" his heart sunk, this is what he had feared the most but Michael had convinced him otherwise, so he wasn't really expecting it.
"Five weeks now" she told him. Calum really didn't care how long she had been with Aaron for, but he nodded his head anyway.
"O-okay, I guess I'll just got then" He wanted to get out of there, he could already feel the tears stinging at his eyes and so could she. Before Eleanor could even reply, Calum had left her room and ran out her house.
"I've lost her!" he yelled, as he entered the car, slamming the door in anger. Frustrated with himself, he punched the steering wheel causing the horn to beep.
