Chapter Sixteen.
The boys were on the plane to Spain now. They had an amazing week in Portugal; but tour was coming to an end now and they couldn't wait to get home and spend some proper time with their families. Calum was yet to find out about Eleanor coming to their final show, Ashton wasn't sure if he'd be happy about it, so he was just keeping it between himself and the girls for the time being. He didn't have a reason not to be though; he was planning to speak to her when he got home anyway. Everyone knew Calum wanted to see Eleanor, to get back with her. It was all he could ever think about.
It was pretty hot in Spain. The boys found a pool outside of the hotel so that's where they currently were. Michael, Ashton and Luke were in the pool having a splash fight, while Calum was sat on the side with his feet in the water.
"Dude, come in!" Michael insisted, splashing Calum from where he was stood. Calum kicked his foot in the water, splashing him back but he also ended up splashing Luke and Ashton in the process. Both Luke and Ashton exited the pool, picking Calum up and throwing him into the pool causing a huge splash.
"You're all idiots" Calum laughed as he emerged from the water, flicking his hair out of his eyes.
The boys had been in the pool for an hour when they're skin started to prune, so they decided to go back into the hotel to dry off. This time round, Ashton was sharing a room with Calum and Michael was sharing a room with Luke. When they had all got changed, they got together in Ashton and Calum's room. Ashton decided now was the best time to tell Calum about their final show, with all the boys here and no good mood to disturb.
"So Calum, about our last show in Australia..." Ashton started. Michael and Luke's eyes widened, preparing for the worst.
"What about it? We're not cancelling it are we?" Calum asked, confused.
"No! No, of course not. Well, we kind of invited Eleanor and Adriana to come, they have backstage passes" Ashton told him. It was silent for a while as Calum processed what he had just been told. He slowly nodded his head, not sure how to respond.
"Okay," he responded simply. The other three boys frowned, expecting him to have either been excited or annoyed at what they had done. "I was going to see her when we got home anyway. I doubt she'll come though, after what happened." he shrugged.
"Well actually..." Michael started, but Calum interrupted wanting to change the subject.
"Don't we have rehearsals to get to?" he blurted, not wanting to talk about the subject any longer. He was already becoming nervous about seeing her.
He knew he was going to see her when he got home anyway, but now he had an exact date that it would happen. He was hoping he would be able to spontaneously arrive at her house to speak to her, so he didn't have to even think about it. But now that he there was a possibility that she would be at their final show, he had time to worry about it.
"Uhm, yeah, we do" Luke spoke up, just as confused as Ashton and Michael.
"Awesome" Calum stated bluntly , getting up and pulling on his shoes.
He left the hotel room without another word, hoping the boys were following behind.
