Chapter Fifteen.
It had been about a week since Eleanor had broken up with Aaron, but they still kept in touch which they were both thankful for. Eleanor liked having a male friend in her life, other than Ashton, Luke and Michael; that she could trust; that she could meet up with frequently without having to worry about him being on the other side of the world.
Aaron liked having Eleanor in his life too, someone he felt comfortable around and could be himself with, without worrying about her judging him. It seemed as though they saw each other more now that they were friends than back when they were dating. They both thought that was pretty weird, but neither of them were complaining. After all, they both had gained a new friend.
Ashton had been in touch with Eleanor yesterday, to see if she wanted to come to their last show of their tour. She wasn't sure at first, but once he told her Calum wanted to speak to her she eventually agreed; he had also told her he would organise VIP backstage passes for her and Adriana. She was already pretty nervous about going, even though it was two weeks away. Adriana watched as Eleanor paced around her bedroom, stressing.
"Eleanor calm down!" Adriana laughed.
If there was one thing Eleanor knew, it was that she was still in love with Calum and she did want to get back with him. But the thought of seeing him properly again after all this time, really freaked her out.
"I can't, it's like I'm nervous and excited to see him. It's weird" Eleanor admitted.
"I get it, but its two weeks away. Freak out about it then" Adriana tried to reason with her.
"You're right. You're right, sorry" Eleanor sat down on the edge of her bed and her leg started bouncing, which caused the bed to shake. Adriana placed her hand on Eleanor's leg forcing it to stop, raising her eyebrows. Eleanor looked at her best friend innocently, apologizing. Adriana laughed lightly, removing her hand from Eleanor's leg. "Do you think he might know? You know, that I want to be with him still? Do you think he wants to? Oh gosh what if he doesn't? What if they just invited me to embarrass..." Eleanor started rambling and got up from the bed, pacing again, but Adriana cut her off.
"Calm down! Okay? Ashton rang me too, he told me Calum has been a mess since he left for tour and was even worse when he found out about Aaron." Eleanor stopped pacing her room as soon as the words left Adriana's mouth.
"What? Now I just feel even worse" she frowned. Adriana stood up and walked over to Eleanor and placed her hands upon the panicking girl's shoulders.
"Dude, chill! Girl you seriously need to calm down! Doesn't that just prove that he misses you and still wants to be with you? Isn't that what you want? Look, we're going to go to that concert in two weeks. You'll see him, he'll see you, you'll tell him you love him and he'll tell you he loves you too. Nothing more will be needed to say and you'll both be happy again. You guys are perfect together, and everyone can see that. So, take a chill pill and let's go buy you some shoes to go with that dress you bought last week. Okay? Okay" Adriana finished her speech dashed out the room before Eleanor could say anything.
Eleanor stared blankly at where Adriana was previously stood, trying to process everything she just said. A small smile grew on Eleanor's face while she pulled on her shoes, and ran downstairs.
"Let's go buy shoes!" Eleanor announced, raising her hand like superman, walking out the door as if she was flying.
"I've missed this side of you" Adriana admitted, following Eleanor out the door.
