Chapter Twelve.
The boys had landed in France and were now on their way to their hotel in Paris, which is where they would be staying for the next week.
Calum dumped his luggage down by his bed, and then lay back on his bed; Luke doing the same - as they were sharing a room. They stayed quiet for a while before Calum decided to speak up.
"Hey, Luke what did you think of that song I wrote earlier in the tour?" he asked.
"It was awesome! We should add it to the album, if you want to?" Luke told him.
"Yeah. Yeah, I was thinking that actually" Luke smiled in response, before it grew quiet again.
The boys were currently going over the set list for their concert tomorrow, discussing whether to make any changes to which songs they should play.
"Hey, why don't we try your song Cal?" Luke suggested.
"Oh, yeah! Sure!" Calum went to grab his bag from the side of the stage and pulled out the lyrics and music sheets while Luke and Michael grabbed their guitars from the side. Luke and Michael read over the guitar chords, while Ashton figured he could just pick up the beat once they started playing.
Once they had memorised enough of the chords, they started playing. Calum sang the first verse, Luke sang the second and Michael sang the bridge, while they all sang the chorus
The song had gone well, and they all agreed to add it to their final shows as well as their album.
All the boys worked out the song was about Eleanor, but they didn't want to ask; just in case it might upset Calum. There were times where he was very touch about the whole Eleanor subject.

The boys were now stood underneath the Eiffel Tower, looking around in complete awe.
"This is so cool" Michael commented, looking up at the tower.
"I know, it makes me feel so small" Luke joked, as he was the tallest out of the four. The other three laughed at his joke, including Calum – something he hadn't done in a while.
"Okay that was actually quite funny" Ashton complimented. Luke smiled in thanks, before they moved on.
The boys were growing hungry now, so they found a McDonalds and got themselves some food.
"Do you think the guy that designed the Eiffel Tower was clumsy?" Luke asked, as they sat eating. Ashton was the only one who laughed, Michael and Calum stared at Luke not in the slightest bit amused. Eleanor would have appreciated that, Calum thought.
"That was such good word play" Ashton giggled, but once he realised he was the only one laughing he stopped, and awkwardly stared at his food.
Once they had finished their food, Michael announced that he was tired. Ashton and Luke agreed so they decided to head back to the hotel to rest. Calum was still wide awake from his sleep on the plane, but he went back to the hotel anyway - he figured he would just browse through social media to pass the time.
He was scrolling through Twitter when he found himself on Eleanor's profile. He didn't know how he had got there, but there he was. She hadn't tweeted for a few days, but he was scrolling through her tweets anyway. He came across a tweet from about two weeks ago that caught his eye. He had to read it a couple of times to make sure he wasn't seeing things.
"@ItsJustEleanor: It can't be right to think about your ex while you have a boyfriend..."
Calum smiled at this. Maybe he had some hope after all.
