Chapter Seventeen.

Adriana took Eleanor to the same shop she'd had bought her dress so they could look at their shoes. After all, it would make sense for them to have shoes that go with the dress. Eleanor found the same dress that she had bought, making it easier for her to find shoes that would go well. Adriana found a pair of black gladiator sandals, and brought them over to where Eleanor was standing with the dress. Adriana held the shoes against the dress and smiled.

"Perfect! Go try it all on!" Adriana spoke, shoving the shoes and dress into Eleanor's hand so she could try it all on, together. Eleanor rolled her eyes, but went to the changing rooms anyway.

After trying on about twelve different shoes, Eleanor decided on the first pair she had tried on after all and purchased them.

After two hours of walking round shops, but not actually purchasing anything, Adriana and Eleanor found themselves sprawled across one of the benches in town. People passing by stared at the way they were sitting, but they didn't care, they were too tired to move.

"I'm so nervous for next week but I'm also really excited. I'm nexcited" Eleanor told Ade.

"Nexcited? That one's new, you really should have your own dictionary" Adriana laughed; Eleanor rolled her eyes at Adriana's words. "I can't wait for you two to be reunited though, you guys deserve to be happy together" Adriana admitted, Eleanor blushed at her words.

Still sprawled across the bench, Eleanor found herself slowly falling asleep. Noticing this, Eleanor forced her eyes open and stood up from the bench.

"We should go, before I fall asleep" Eleanor commented. Adriana grumbled in response but got up from the bench herself. They slowly dragged themselves to the bus stop, and flopped down into their seats after they paid for their tickets.

"Must not fall asleep on the bus." Both Eleanor and Adriana spoke at the same time. It took a few minutes before they realised what they had done and laughed at themselves.

They returned to Eleanor's house, and they barely made it to the front room before falling onto the sofas and falling asleep.

Eleanor woke up about half an hour later, feeling more refreshed. Eleanor looked over to the other sofa, to see Adriana still fast asleep, sprawled out, and pretty much taking up the whole sofa. Eleanor silently laughed at her best friend before snapping a picture and posting it on Twitter.

"@ItsJustEleanor: Ade is so beautiful when she sleeps :-) @adrianaaaaa_"

Adriana's phone beeped at the notification, causing her to wake up. Eleanor's eyes widened knowing she had woken Adriana. Eleanor dashed into the kitchen, and while she was there she decided to make herself a snack. Just as she was about to tuck in, Adriana waltzed in removing the food from Eleanor's hands and proceeded to eat it herself. Eleanor's jaw dropped, as she watched Adriana do the one thing she hated most.

"That's for posting that seriously unattractive photo of me on Twitter" Adriana smirked, as she swallowed. "You can have the rest though" She tried to give the food back, but Eleanor screwed her nose up, shaking her head. Adriana just shrugged her shoulders before finishing the snack.
