Scorching cookies,
Collapsing cakes,
Pastries and treats galore!
Making mistakes all the more.
Trying, attempting, and failing,
Crying not, tears not trailing.
Smiling wide from ear to ear,
With bandaged fingers, not a whimper to hear.
I hand you a gift, from me to you!
Worked so long and so hard,
To make something nice and sweet!
Sharing these feelings that can't be beat.
It might taste strange, burnt and crumbling,
But it is filled with my sugary sweet feelings.
A treat from me to you,
The sweetest love.
