I don't want a bouquet of Roses, not even one petal.
They'll just wither away,
Pricking myself on its thorns.
They'll just wilt and die,
Its beauty on a facade.
I don't want a box of Chocolates, not even a crumb.
They'll be too sweet to eat,
Filled with tooth-rotting sugar.
They'll be gone all too soon,
All eaten up before I get a taste, not a bite.
I don't want a single piece of Jewelry, not even a single ring.
They'll become lost somewhere,
Never to be seen or found again.
They'll become broken in pieces,
Rusted away, unable to be repaired.
Not even the night sky filled with stars,
Not even the prettiest flower in the fields,
Not even the handsomest horse in the stables,
Not even the worlds entirety at its finest!
I don't want anything at all, not even one memory.
If it is not you.
