Toss a small thought,
Only the size of a pebble,
Into a pond of memories,
Its waters muddied with age,
And watch as their ripples
Affect such a fragile, weak dream,
Morphing it into a blurry nightmare.
Wavering sanity cries out to be free
As the world come crashing down,
Trying to flee from its self- made confinement,
Yearning for a bittersweet euphoria
Of sweetly poisoned, false truths,
Instead of being kept prison here,
Trapped in its own haunting past.
Unsure,
Of what to do...
Unsure,
Of how to help...
I sit here and watch
The affect of time ripple.
