Smile, smile, and smile some more for the cameras
Never, ever show selfishness to those outside of you
Cry, cry, and cry some more for the television screens
Make drama out of everything and anything you can
Whine, whine, and whine some more for the attention
You want, no, you need, so you don't die of boredom
Pose, pose, and pose some more for the world to see
Show as much skin and bone as possible to fit the role
Drink, drink, and drink some more for the end of the
Night to wash away all of the bills and loans not paid
Sing, sing, and sing some more for the crowd to scream
And boo you off stage, to get a life, to not just waste away
Dance, dance, and dance some more for the nightmares to go away
Because all of your dreams left you a while ago to shatter and break
Jump, jump, and jump some more for the last time for a long while
So the news has something to report and criticize about for a little while.
