"We are here."
"It's just a tall building." I say
"It is a *bang* ow! It is your new home." Mr. Poe says after he runs into a pole
"Blind" Sunny babbles and points to Mr. Poe
"You got one thing right Sunny." Violet says as we walk in
"Who are you?" A man asks
"I am Violet Baudelaire, and these are my siblings, Klaus and Sunny."
"I am Summer Clowder."
"The Badelaires are expected but Ms. Clowder is not neither is him." He says as he points to Mr. Poe
"I was just here to drop them off so bye." Mr. Poe said
"Mr. Poe I am not allowed here!" I say
"Well, you have no living relatives, so you have to stay here." Mr. Poe says and walks out and I stand and stare at the door bewildered that he just left when I obviously can't stay here!
"Ms. Squalor will have to agree to take you in or you will be kicked out." The man said
"Is the elevator out of order? I can fix them I if you like, and Summer can help." Violet asked looking at the elevator
"No, there just out so you have to take the stairs to the top." The man said and the Badelaires started up the stairs.
"So, how do you plan to keep Count Olaf out and how they going to find the Quagmires?" I ask the man
"There is a city-wide manhunt looking for him and the Quagmires." He said
"I just hope they are found soon." I say
"Why do you want to know all this are you working for Count Olaf?" He asked
"Believe me I would NEVER work for him. Also, the Quagmires are my friends so are the Badelaires." I say
Hours pass and I worry the Badelaires are in trouble, but 20 minutes pass and Violet comes back down and says,
"Summer Ms. Squalor has agreed to take you in too!"
"Really?!" I say happily
"Yes, now come on!" Violet says and we start up the stairs
"Violet, I got some information on Count Olaf." I say
"What is it?"
"It is that there is a city-wide manhunt looking for him and the Quagmires. So, he cannot take them far." I say
"Well, that's good." Violet says
We keep walking for another 10 minutes then we get to the top and I say,
"That's weird there's 2 elevator doors instead of one. On every other floor there is one elevator."
Suddenly the door opens, and a man says,
"Violet, your back and who is this?"
"This is Summer. Jerome, Summer, Summer, Jerome." Violet says
"Nice to meet you." I say
"Well, come inside." Jerome said
We walk inside and I look around at the huge penthouse.
"Darling, have you gotten those orphans in the 'in' suits?" A woman yells
"Not yet Violet just brought her friend over!" Jerome shouts
"Another orphan. Well, more orphans the more 'in' I am." The lady says as she comes onto view
"You must be Ms. Squalor, I am Summer." I say and I put my hand out but she doesn't even look at me.
"Jerome get them into their new clothes ASAP!" She says completely ignoring me, I can already tell this is going to be a long day.
As if on cue a newspaper flew in and hit me in the head.
"Hey watch it!" I shout at the newspaper boy as he rides his bike down the stairs? Esme could care less and picked up the newspaper and screamed.
"Light is 'in', Dark is 'out'! Jerome open the curtains in those other rooms, orphans open the ones in the living room, and I will run around in panicky circles!" She says and starts running in circles like she said, and we head to open the curtains. When we open them, the worst thing was behind them. Count Olaf.
"Does this feel like a nightmare? A bad dream? Because that's the effect I was going for." Count Olaf Says
"Where are the Quagmires!" I shout going up to him
"You mean you don't know? I thought everyone could smell wealthy orphans when there in arms reach." He says faking the shock
"Isadora" Klaus says
"Duncan" Violet says
"You can't get far with the city-wide manhunt for you!" I yell
"Yes, the manhunt may have foreshadowed me, but I will soon be gone!" He says
"You mean 'forestalled" Klaus corrected
"Mr. and Mrs. Squalor, Olaf is here!" I shout as they run in
"Where?!" Mr. Squalor asked panicked
"How did he get door person and the city-wide manhunt?!" Esme says
"He's right here!" I say pointing to Olaf who now has glasses on covering his one eyebrow
"It is true that Olaf is here." He says with an accent then pulled out a signed poster of himself out and Esme screamed.
"How did you mange that?" Esme asked walking up to him
"I have my ways." Olaf says
"Jerome please go get them in there pin suits." Esme says and he walks off with us.
"How many rooms are there in here?" I ask
"70.... I think." Jerome says
"Are there places to hide?" Violet asked
"OOHHH Hide n' Seek! Kids could get lost during that game here!" Jerome says
"Here are your suits, Summer we don't have one for you since we weren't expecting you so you will have to stay in those clothes." Jerome says and walks out
"We need to search the rooms." I say
"We will." Violet says
"How? They will know something is up when we don't come out." Klaus asked
"Split up." Sunny babbles
"Yes, Klaus and Sunny will go out and ask to have a tour, while Violet and I will search thoroughly then meet in the living room." I say and we all split up

I will not be doing a chapter about then searching because that would be boring so the next chapter will just be them meeting back and goin to lunch. Bye!!!
