When we get to the building where the auction is being held Count Olafs henchmen stops us
"Hey you aren't on the list!" The bald man says
"Count Olaf wants us captured right?" I say
"Yes...." The bald man responded unsure what I am doing
"Then you have to let us in." Violet says
"It's basically capturing us." Klaus adds
"Hmmm I have to think on that." The bald man says and turns to ask the hook man, when his back is turned we go in.
"The auction has started we may have missed them!" Klaus says worried
"No we didn't miss them, look!" I say and point at the next item, it's a box with the letters V.F.D on it and holes all over the box as if something living was in it.
"Mr.Poe can we use our fortune to bid on an item?" Violet asked
"Now I suppose we could make a modest bet." He says
"$20" he yells out
"$40" his wife bids
"Darling you bided against me!" He says
"Well I think it would make a good addition to my powder room!"
"$50!" I yell out then count Olaf gives one of his henchmen that is in the crowd a look that says "bid higher you idiot!!"
"$60" the man said
"$70" Violet yells
"Now now children let's give some other people a chance to bid." Mr.Poe said
"$80" a women said from the crowd
"$90" the henchmen said
"$100" Klaus yells
"$101" the henchmen yells
"$102" I yell
"$103" the henchmen yells
"$104" Violet yells
"$105" I yell before the henchmen yells higher
"$104" the henchmen yells
"Darling $104 is less then $105!" Esme says
"Oh it is? Then $150" the henchmen yells
"$1000!" Sunny yells
"What did she say?" Everyone asks
"She said, $1000." Violet says
"I knew she worked as an assistant but I never knew her salary was that high!" Mr.Poe exclaimed
"Sold to the baby!!" Count Olaf yells and we run up on stage and start to open it
"HEY you have to pay first!!" Esme yells
"Well then think again about auctioning off children!" I yell. I give the Baudelaire's a nod and they open the box as I walk up to 'Gunther'
"THIS MAN IS COUNT OLAF!" I yell and everyone gasped
"How dare you accuse me of being that very handsome man!" He exclaimed
"Wait you said he tried to sell children?" Someone asked
"Yes! Our friends the Quagmire triplets are in there!" I shout pointing at the box as the Baudelaire's still open it
"Well if they are then I guess I shouldn't do this!" Olaf says as he presses a button on his cane and a blade comes out the bottom and he stabbed the box
"NOOOO!" We yell and doilies fall out
"Doilies?" I ask confused
"Yes what else could V.F.D stand for!" Esme says
"Very Fancy Doilies!" Olaf says as the blade goes back in the cane, but I noticed that he cut his laces on his shoe so I take this advantage
"Summer... what are doing?" Violet asked when she saw me getting closer to Olaf
"To prove this is Olaf he will take his glasses off and show his one eyebrow." I say reaching for his glasses but he grabbed my arm, my plan is working
"I will not be doing that I need my glasses to see." Olaf says still holding my arm. Next step, I need to go behind him but have my foot around his so when I pull my foot back he falls back and his shoe flys off reveling his tattoo, and I do just that and he tattoo is revealed.
"That's count Olaf!!!" Mr.Poe yells
"Told ya!" I say walking back over to the Baudelaire's
"AHHHH FOLCERT HALL IS OUT NEWENT HALL IS IN!" Esme yells and everyone runs out while Olaf and Esme open a trap door and escape, we try to stop them but be can't.
"UGH it was a red herring!" I shout in annoyance
"Wait red herring that's it!" Klaus says
"Yeah we know." I say
"No not that red herring. The red herring was an item at the auction!" Violet says
"So Olaf put them in a red herring?" I ask confused
"Correctammando!" Sunny babbles
"Children I have found you all some new guardians." Mr.Poe said
"And you might be interested in this one the town if called V.F.D." He said. We all look at each other then get in the call and head to the town called V.F.D
