"Come on, Semi... Move faster..." Kenjirō whispered yell

The sandy colored haired setter was pulling the former pinch server towards the back stage

"Stop dragging me, Kenjirō... It will just make me more nervous." Semi replied putting both of them to a halt.

Shirabu faced the older and raised a brow.
"Stop looking at me like that, Ken. You're literally making my nerves... nervous!"

"That's... unfathomable." the younger replied letting Semi's hand off.

"I just need 5 more minutes to calm myself down... or at least stop pressuring me."

"I am not pressuring you, Semi. I'm encouraging you."

"But, I feel like I'm coerce in doing this." Semi sighed clicking his tongue.

"Did I force you in any way, Semi?" Shirabu asked pain was painted all over his face.

"N..No.. It's not-"

"Isn't it am the one who was forced to be here? You said you want me to watch your audition... and now that we are here, are you really backing out?" Kenjirō replied a little stern

"I.. I am not... I'm sorry... I just need some time to breathe..."

"Okay..." Shirabu answered turning away.

After a solid 5 minutes, Semi, let out a breath, and faced Shirabu

"I'm better now." Eita whispered.

"You better be calmer now, Semi, because the audition will start any time soon."

"I am. Thank you for giving me the time I needed.." Eita said

Shirabu smiled a little.
"I'll be cheering for you, okay? If you ever feel nervous just look at me... I'll be at front okay?" he said before waving goodbye to his senpai

"Aaaah! I can do this!" Eita excitedly went to the backstage and waited for his name to be called

When he was on stage, his eyes focused on one particular person... Shirabu smiling sweetly at him.

All through out the song, Semi stared at Kenjirō, and actually enjoyed his first audition as a singer. He reminisced all their memories together during their HighSchool days, and the day he asked the younger setter if he could court him. It all seems like yesterday...

But, even though he performed well, he failed to impress the judges

Semi devastatedly walked out of the stage and met Kenjirō outside in the hallway.

"I... I'm sorry for disappointing y-" he began

"You didn't.. You did great out there, Semi!" Shirabu replied smiling widely.

"Semi... before we go home... I have something to give you." Kenjirō said shyly, right hand on his pocket.

Semi waited for that something... and was shocked when he felt Kenjirō's left hand caressing his cheeks. The younger pulled him for a soft peck on his lips.

"That... That's the something I-" Shirabu shyly continued, averting his eyes, blushing red

"Does this mean... Ken.. you're-"

"Yes, Semi.. I'll be your boyfriend."

Semi's eyes widened and quickly pulled Shirabu for a tight hug.

Shirabu has always been proud of Semi, and even the singer didn't pass that round or wasn't able to enter the next level of the competition, the best reward Semi received that day is a yes from Shirabu.
