Chapter 22

The next day I woke up, took a shower and straighten my hair. I put on my makeup and picked out my outfit. I decided to wear a plain pink tie dye shirt with shorts since it was going to be hot today.
I ate my breakfast and headed out the door. Steven was already outside waiting for me. "Hey beautiful." he said and kissed me. I blushed and kissed him back. We then walked to school

After school, I waited for Steven in front of the school. He was already with Ashley and she seemed super happy. I smiled at her lovingly.
"Hey boo thaang." Steven said to me and kissed me. "Hey babe." I said and smiled. I then looked at Ashley and introduced myself, "Hi I'm Vanessa, steven's girlfriend." She smiled at me and said, " Nice to meet you I'm Ashley."
"Well I guess I should go, you two have fun." I said and smiled. Steven grabbed both of my hands and said, "Are you sure your going to be okay walking home alone?" I smiled and said, "im sure." He squeezed my hands and said, "Okay I love you and be safe." He then kissed my forehead. "Okay babe I will and I love you too." I said. Ashley's mom pulled up and they both went in the car and I waved goodbye.
I then started to walk towards home. I wasn't really alone, there was a groups of people from my school walking the same direction. As I looked through the groups of people to see if I know anyone, I saw them. I tried to hide between people and behind people but it was useless.
"Omg Vanessa!" Daisy said as she dragged Benjamin with her. "uh hey." I said and slightly smiled. "Where's Steven?" She asked. "He hanging out with a fan." I said. "Oh that's cool, have I introduced you to my new boyfriend Benjamin? " she said. I didn't know what to say, so I just went along with it. "Uhhh no, no I haven't. " I said lying. He looked at me with these big blue guilty eyes. "Well this is Benjamin and we've been dating for a week. Benjamin this is Vanessa. " She said. I didn't want to shake his hand or talk to him, but I did. "Hi uh nice to meet you." I said and shook his hand. "Nice to meet you." He said and put on a genuine smile.
"Well um I should get going I have lots of homework. " I said and tried to escape. "No, no you should come with us to get ice cream." Daisy said. "Uhh I don't know I don't wanna crash your date." I said making up a excuse. "No its okay c'mon please?" She said.

Having ice cream with my ex boyfriend with his new girlfriend is not what I planned to do today. We all got chocolate ice cream cones and ate them in silence. "Eww I'm all sticky im going to the bathroom I'll be right back." Daisy said and went to the bathroom. I sat there with Benjamin and just ate my ice cream. I didn't want to look at him.
"Sooo you have a new boyfriend?" he asked. "Yes I do and he treats me like a princess." I said not looking at him. "Are we good?" he asked quietly. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Do you forgive me for what I did." he said. Anger filled up in me, how could I ever forgive him. I looked at him in the eye and said, "You cheated on me, in front of my face and then told me it was a mistake when really it wasn't how could I ever forgive you. " It was quiet for a second, then he said, "I'm sorry I really am I just..." I boiled up and said "Just, Just what Benjamin? A mistake ha I heard that one before, you know what I'm leaving." I grabber my bag and headed towards the door "Tell Daisy I have other stuff to do than to be with you." I walked out of the ice cream shop.

"BAAAAAAAABEE." I said as I hugged Steven. "BAAAABYYY." he said and picked me up and spun me. "How was it?" I asked. "Uhh it was good." he said quietly. "That's all cmon how was it? Was it fun?" I asked. "Ya it was fun af and I got her lots of gear." he said. "Did you guys take pictures?" I asked. "Uhhh ya but you can't see them yet." He said. "What why?" I asked. "Um suprise?" He answered. "Are you okay? What's wrong?" I asked worryingly. "Nothing babe its just that I missed you." He said and hugged me. I then said "Are you sure cau-" he put his finger over my lips "babe I'm fine okay?" He said and lifted my chin with his finger and kissed me.
