Chapter 4

The next day I got up, brushed my teeth, straighten my hair, and picked out the clothes I was going to wear for the day. I wore a plain coral crop top with some ripped tight skinny jeans. I took a hasty glance at myself in the mirror and then headed out the door.

No one was waiting for me to walk me to school, which I was perfectly fine with. It took me about 15 minutes to get to school. I looked around and saw Benjamin standing by himself. I quickly looked away and try to hide but, he was already heading towards my way. "Vanessa please van we talk." he said to me in a very serious tone. I pretended to ignore him and look away, "Please it was a mistake, a mistake that I'll never make again, please just forgive me, I-I need you in my life again..." I looked at him in disgust, "Do you think I can just forgive you in one day? I need time to think, time for you to understand that we're over, over for good." The bell rang and Benjamin just stood in silence. I walked and headed towards my class.

My first period was math. I didn't really like math but, I was really good at it. "Good morning ladies and gentlemen, today we have a new student named Elena." I glanced at her and she was really pretty. She had light brown eyes and she had curled her hair. "You may take a seat next to Vanessa." said Mrs. Rodgers as she pointed at me. She waved hi and I gave her a small smile. She seemed really nice and chill.

Class was over and it was time for lunch. I got my lunch and I had no idea where I was going to sit. I looked around and saw Elena sitting by herself at a empty table. I decided to sit next to keep her company. "Hi, can I sit with you?" I asked with a smile. "Yeah of course." she responded. I sat and began to eay my lunch. "So why did you decide to eat lunch with me today?" she curiously asked. "I used to sit next to my boyfriend at lunch everyday but, we recently broke up so, I decided to sit next to you today." I replied. She smirked and said "Not to be nosey but, why did you brake up with your boyfriend?" "He cheated on me..." I quietly responded. "ohh that really sucks." she replied, I quickly nodded my head.

"HERE'S A FLYER FOR YOU AND HERE'S A FLYER FOR YOU!!! yelled my friend Tristan. "What is this for?" I asked. "Its a party at my house tomorrow at 5." he replied. I read the flyer and said "oh I'll be there!" I asked Elena "Are you going to go?" I asked with a big cheesy smile on my face. She replied and said, "Um ya of course I'll go! " I smile at her and then the bell rang.

After school was over, Elena was waiting for me in front of the school. "Hey, I was wondering If you wanted to walk home together, since we live pretty close to each other." I wondered how she knew where I lived and I replied "ya of course."

While we were walking we talked about our past boyfriends, schools we used to go to, celebrity gossip, and people who we thought were cute at school. We got pretty close and she was really nice and chill.

Once I got home, I ate and did my homework. I took a shower and picked out my clothes I was going to wear tomorrow for the party. I was actually excited about going to the party. I just really hope that Benjamin wasn't going to be there. I then tuck myself to bed and fell asleep.
