"Okay well is there a key?" Steve asks and walk around to the other door looking all around the car for a key. I stare in confusion and disbelief, how is my dads car here? We sold it a month after he died.

Steve walks around to the other side where I'm standing and opens the drivers door "well come on guys help me look" he says, everyone is standing by the garage door staring at me like they know something is wrong.. Well because it is.

Eddie walks up next to me and puts his hand on my shoulder "what's wrong?" He says so softly, I turn to him "this is my dads car"
"Yea" He speaks so softly like he scared if speaks to loud he could break me
"My" every time I talk about this I start to cry, so I hold back the tears as I say to Eddie, my voice shaky "my dad is dead"

Eddies eyes widen but I see that he's trying not to over react cause this is a hard thing for me. He pulls me into a hug and I find so much comfort in his hugs that I feel safe in this place that's trying to kill me. Everyone heard me and they all are staring at me with Eddies arms wrapped around me. I suck the tears back up, I'm not crying right now.

After a few moments of silence Nancy says from behind us "wait but that doesn't make any sense" I pull away from Eddie "did you keep his car after he died?"
"No" I say "we sold it a month after" Nancy scratches her head "and everything in here dosnt go past 2019" she pauses "2019"

We look at her "what about it Nanc?" Steve says from the drivers seat
"2019 is- that's the year Will went missing"
"Who's will?" I ask
"He's my brothers friend" she says "Will went missing here" she points to the ground meaning the upside down "and that's when the gate opened, so really it means that this world doesn't change. It stays the same from that day in 2019, that's why you dads car is here".

" I'm sorry I'm confused" Steve steps out of the car and slams the door "are you saying that we're back in time?" Nancy says "pretty much yes"

"What in the-" Eddie whispers shaking his head and rubbing his palm on his forehead.
"To prove it though we have to get to my house"
"Why?" Steve asks
"Because if my guns aren't there then I'm right"
"You think they're not there?" Robin asks
"Well in this year I didn't have them because I didn't need them, and then there were demogorgans and things" she shakes her head "I don't know okay but what I do know is that if we are in present day my guns should be in that house."

"Let's check then" Robin says "but how do we get there"
I say "if I'm correct when I was 15 I had bikes, my mom and dad would take me out to ride all the time."
"Bikes" Steve says and he looks to me "where?"
"Follow me"

I took everyone around back to the shed in my backyard. "Should be in here" there's a lock on it so I grab a big rock I find in the grass and I hit the lock with it until it breaks.

Opening the door I see four bikes and one child sized one with Dora the explorer on the front, I grab the one I remember being mine, its pink with red polka dots. Eddie grabs my dads, the blue one, Robin grabs the deep red one and Nancy takes the Dark green. That leaves Steve with the Dora the explorer one.

"You've gotta be kidding me" he says
"That's all we have I'm sorry" I say
"Can we trade?" He asks me
"Nope"

We all hop on our bikes and Nancy leads because she knows where to go and we all follow behind her, Steve is furthest behind because his bike is the smallest and its hard to move.

The air is so much cooler down here.

After a few miles my legs are burning but thankfully Nancy stops at a big house and we drop our bikes on the yard. Steve comes a few seconds after us.

Nancy opened the door and runs up the stairs to her room and we all follow. When she gets to her room she runs to the closest and grabs two shoe boxes, she puts them on the table where her computer is and rips the lid off, Steve just now getting in the room. When she opens it there's just shoes in there- like you would expect from a shoe box.

"They're not here" she says
Eddie says "Maybe you left them somewhere else"
"There's a 6 yr old in the house I know where I keep my guns!" Nancy snaps
"OK so you must be right then we're in the past" I say to her
"Yea but" she pauses "What do we do now?"

"Well Shit" Steve swears and he walks to the other side of the room with his hands in his hair. "This is great" he says. When I come to a realization "wait guys if there was a lake where this kid died from Vecna, would there be one from someone who didn't die but got attacked maybe?" I ask

Eddie puts his arm around my shoulders looking at me head on. Nancy answers "its possible.. Why?"
"Because I almost died at Eddies trailer, I don't know" I look to Eddie who's face is oddly close to me "you think a gate would be there?" Eddie nods his head "hey we might as well look and see right?" He smiles

"Back to Eddies" Steve says from the middle of the room next to Nancy's bed, he's practically leaning on it. "Yay" he says sarcastically throwing his hands in the air.

"What's wrong with Eddies?" I turn to around to face Steve and cross my arms around my chest, eddies arm falls from my shoulders in the process.
Steve says "oh nothing Angela maybe its just the fact that I don't want to go back to the place I found out you were cheating on me!"

That's ridiculous what is his problem "cheating?.. Steve that's ridiculous I told you what happened and its not my fault you don't believe me!" We walk closer to each other now "oh so I'm just supposed to believe you were at his house to buy drugs"
"Yes you are supposed to believe that because that's what happened!"
"He walks around with a luncbox full of it! He could've just gave you one of those!"
"I told you I needed something else!"
"You were in bed with him Angela!" He screams at me so close to my face I deal the spit leave his mouth
"What you saw earlier has nothing to do with anything! And we didn't even do anything!"
"But you-" Steve starts but Eddie cuts him off, he comes up behind me and puts his hand on my waist and the other hand up in defense "hey hey hey ladies" he smiles "there are worse problems right now so we can just leave this for another time.?"

I turn around and walk towards Nancy and Robin by the table, they stood and watched our whole argument which I'm a little embarrassed by. Eddie stands in front of Steve "if Steve wants to talk about this he can talk to me" he says

Steve opened his mouth to speak but stops when we hear voices that aren't ours. I can't really make out what they are saying but it sounds like.. Dustin? "Do you guys hear that?" Robin says

"DUSTIN" Steve starts yelling at nothing, he starts walking around the room with his head looking up at the ceiling yelling "DUSTIN" "HELLO" "HELLO" "DUSTIN"

We all just watch him until the voice replays louder "Steve?"
Steve smiles wide and screams again "DUSTIN"
The voice says again "Steve! Steve! I can hear you"
Robin says "this is so weird" and then yells "dustinnn! Hi!"
"Hi robin" the voice says

Steve yells "were uh- a little stuck buddy can you help us?"
Dustin yells back "I knew you guys went in, your so stupid" I can hear the irritation in his voice. "Yea you guys suck" I hear Max's voice this time
"Oh my god Max!" Steve says
"Okay how do we help you what's wrong?" Dustin says

"Hi!" Eddie yells facing the ceiling and we all turn to him "I wanted to say something" I laugh and he smiles at me

"Okay anyway" Steve continues "I uhhh" he looks to Nancy "Nanc, what do we uh"
"Dustin can you hear me?" Nancy calls out and Dustin replies with a simple "yes"
"Okay we're going to Eddies trailer do you know where that is?"
There's silence for a while and then Dustin says "meet you at Eddies trailer got it"
"Yea can you get there?" Nancy says
Nobody answers "Hello?" Steve calls out "Dustin!" "Max!"

"Jesus Christ" he swears after no one answers for the 4th time
"Let's just go we don't even know if there's a gate anyway" I say

I take Eddie hand and walk out the door of Nancy's room. I didn't even realize I took his hand it just happened, but I kinda love it.
