Chapter Seven

On the drive back to? I dont know where, Steve breaks the silence by asking me a question

"So Ang, what were you doing at Eddie Munsons trailer anyway?"

From what i can i see his eyes are telling me he doesn't believe any thing i just told him in the trailer. Which makes me even more mad at him because even though this sounds ridiculous cant he at least try to get it? I mean hes my boyfriend for christ sake.

"Steve i already told you. I was attacked by slimy creature and he tried to kill me"
Steve just laughs again

"Look i know it sounds ridiculous and like im making it up, i probably wouldn't believe it either but, please just as my boyfriend listen to me. Even if you don't believe it just please Steve listen to what im telling you and try to understand, please.

Steve rolls his eyes and chuckles to himself again.

"I dont know Angie it just seemed a little odd to me that after you dont show up at my car after school and then i get a call from George saying Eddie Munson called him and he said you were at his trailer!"
"and then when i show up you say this shit about a red faced slimy thing that tried to kill you and you were dangling off the ceiling!"
"yea that makes sense i totally understand that!" hes screaming now

I dont reply and just stay silent because theres no use in arguing with him especially as we're in a moving vehicle, i dont want to start anything.

Steve starts speeding up and pulls off the side of the road and stops abruptly.

Me and Rose not wearing a seatbelt fly headfirst into the back of front seats. " Steve what the hell!" Rose screams

Steve gets out of the car

George gets out after him and follows hims down the road he already got pretty pretty far down.

Me and Rose now holding are heads can hear George and Steve outside.

"What are you doing man get back in the car" George yells
"No you know what" and i see him throw the car keys at George "you can take her home, im so sick of this shit"
"so are you just gonna walk home? where are you going man?"
"i dont care just somewhere away from here"
and i watch him walk off

George gets back to the car and no one says a word, we just drive back home.
I watched as we passed Steve up on the street and i saw that he was crying, tears dripping from his eyes, and now i feel bad

When i got home my mom was already asleep. Thank god i dont have to explain to her why i'm home so late, i wouldn't even know where to start.

My next mission was to find my phone and text Rose and George about tonight and what happened.

I find my phone in my room right next to my bed, charging just like i left it. Good that means mom wasn't isnt here.

I start a group chat with Rose and George and my first text goes like
do any of you know what just happened?
Rose: um no! girl are you okay? i wanted to ask you so many questions but Steve seemed really upset and i didnt want to say anything (yk how he is)
Me: yea im ok just a lil shaken up by what happened. if you want i would like to talk to you both about what happened without steve because i feel like you would understand more :)
George: honestly A idk if i believe all this either i mean im not on steves side but i don't believe what you told us happened to you. Why were you in Eddie trailer?
Rose: no george i agree with you what steve did was so messed up but i have to agree i don't understand any of this. i believe you're telling the truth but i need answers
Me: i know and i promise i'll explain later maybe tomorrow at school? #keepasecret
Rose: yk it bae! meet us at lunch we'll talk and i promise #nosteve
George: yea im in! and i really hope your okay ang it was a rough day for you
Me: im fine, and george i have to know how you know eddie? ig we all have secrtrs to spill. ill see you guys tomorrow
George: lol yea i knew youd ask that ill explain tomorrow its a long story
Rose: goodnight guys ilyyy❤️❤️❤️
