Adelaide's POV
"YEAH ZURA." A bunch of the ladies on the bench shout after Azura tackles the ball away from Jordyn Huitema in the 70th minute.
Tonights the CONCACAF W Championship game against Canada.
Whomever wins tonight qualifies for the Olympics and wins the CONCACAF W Championship.
After Azura tackles the ball away, she pops up to her feet then she launches an inch perfect pass up field to Talia.
As the ball drops in front of Talia, she puts her foot through the ball and rockets it past Sheridan making the score 1-0.
"Well that was the best pass I've ever seen." Moe says as we stand up and celebrate the goal.
After everyone's celebrated the goal and the game resumes, all of us on the bench sit down.
"I've done better." Lindsey says.
"No you haven't." Everyone on the bench says causing Lindsey to huff.
"I just realized the spine of the team's is gonna be set for years." Kristie says.
"What'd you mean?" Tobin asks.
"Well Emma's 25 years old, Tierna's 23, Azura's 23, Catarina's 22 and Talia's 23." Kristie says.
"Plus Jucinara just turned 26 a couple months ago." I say.
"Not to mention Emily Fox is 24, Naomi's 22, Sophia's about to be 22, Jaelin's 22, Mal's 24, Trinity's 20..." Ash says.
"We get it." Ali says as Allysha Chapman fouls Rose. "We have a lot of good young players."
"REF." Cairo shouts. "THAT'S A FUCKING RED."
"Uh oh." A few of us on the bench say when we see Azura standing up for Rose.
"She looks funny trying to be tough." Lindsey says as we watch Azura tower over Allysha Chapman and a few other Canadians.
"Uh she's not trying to be tough." Tobin says.
"Wait really?" Lindsey says.
"There's a reason she's called the Ram." Astrid says. "She will fuck anybody up at any given time."
Azura's not stupid.
She'll make sure the person she's roughing up makes the first move so she can claim that she was defending herself, but she will not hesitate to stand up for her teammates.
"I thought she got that nickname because of her playing Rugby." Sam says.
"No it started at Lyon." Cairo says.
"What's she saying?" My twin asks as I watch my soulmate put her arms behind her so that she's not blamed for starting anything physical.
"I wish you mother fucking would." I say as I lip read. "I'll snap you like a fucking twig."
"Oh." Alex says.
"Try me bitch." I say as I continue to lip read. "I will wreck your shit."
"Geez." Tobin says as I see one of the Canadian's ball their fists.
"I wish you fucking would swing you bug eyed bitch." I say as I continue to lip read.
"She talks too much." Lindsey says.

"Well when you've won 4 Champions Leagues, 4 League titles, 3 national cups, and a Ballon d'Or then I think you can talk all you want." My twin says.
