"Can you see me now?" Leah asks then she pops up on our Skype call.
"There you are." I say.
"Sweet." Leah says then she sits back and relax's like the rest of us are in our respective homes.
The US plays France today in France so myself, Leah, Abby, and Alex are watching the game while on Skype with each other.
I'm watching the game in my streaming office.
I have the game on my main screen, the Skype screen on my right side screen, and I have my social media stuff up on my left side screen.
I'm watching in my streaming office because this is where my computer is and my streaming chair is so fucking comfy.
Oh and the doggies are in here with me and they're laying on their respective doggy bed.
"Have y'all seen this new interview Zura did?" I ask.
Abby, Leah, Alex, shake their heads no so I play the clip out loud.
"I mean it seems like you all are using your god given talents..." The interviewer says.
"I mean this with all disrespect." Azura says. "Do not ever put my accomplishments in the same sentence as your God."
"They really got to stop doing that." Abby says.
A lot of non-woso media people always put Azura's accomplishments down to being blessed from the Christian God.
"Seriously." I say.
Besides my video back in 2022 when Azura brought up and talked about her religious views on her own, she rarely talks about religion so I don't know why the media keep bringing it up.
"Julie you're religious." The interviewer says.
Julie and Jaelin were with Azura during the interview because they're all CDM's.
"Are you offended with Azura's views?"
"Uh no." Julie says. "She's her own person and allowed to believe or not believe in what she wants."
"Sir you don't believe in 2999 gods." Azura says. "I just don't believe in one more."
"Idiot interviewer" I say as I stop the video.
"Seriously." Leah says as I look at the game while eating some food.
"That's a bit of a scary sight." I say as the camera shows the USA ladies standing in the tunnel.
The front of the USA line is Talia, Emma, Azura, then Jucinara.
"Yeah I'm glad I was on their team." Alex says as I watch Azura ignore her old Lyon teammates when they try to shake her hand and hug her.
"Okay they should know by know she's not gonna be friendly with them before a game." Abby says then the two teams walk out onto the pitch.
"Mhmm." I say.
Once both teams are on the pitch, the national anthems happen then the US's Line-up is shown.
