Azura's POV

"Here we are." I say as I park in the visitors parking of my old high school.

Adelaide and I are in Birmingham, Alabama.

"Briarwood Christian Academy." Adelaide reads off the sign in front of the school.

"Home of the High Flyin' Ravens." I sarcastically say as I turn off the car.

Once the car is off, my soulmate and I get out of the car then I look at my soulmate as I walk around the car to her.

"You are so beautiful." I say as I look at my soulmate.

"Our rival school is called St. Ignatius College Prep so I'm guessing it's a prank for rivalry week." I say. "A weird prank, but a prank nonetheless."

"Oh." Adelaide says then we climb the steps to the front door and head inside.

Once inside Briarwood Christian Academy, I intertwine my hand with Adelaide's then I show her around my old school.

"Are Abby and Sheridan here?" Adelaide asks.

"They should be." I say. "They may be a little late since they went to the dinner before this."

There was a class dinner before this, but I didn't wanna go because the restaurant they went to was my least favorite restaurant here in Birmingham.

"Was she treated better than you while you were here?"

"Everyone was treated better than me." I say as we head towards the commons area of the school. "Everyone who attends this school pays to be here except me and my siblings so we got a bunch of shit for only being here because our Mama worked at the school."

"Oh." Adelaide says.

"The only reason I was allowed to stay was because the head priest dude liked raping me." I say. "And because I led our soccer, rugby, and track teams to state championships every year."
