"What do you mean by 'feelings'?" Dean responded to Castiel with a note of annoyance in his voice.

"Do you or do you not have sexual feelings towards Cassidy?" Cas demanded.

"No! What's the matter with you? We're in a relationship, Cas. I wouldn't leave you for anyone else." Dean was sincere.

"Then why were you talking with her for so long?"

"Geez, Cas. We were just discussing the baby. And us. As a couple. Together."

"What do you mean?"

"She said we made a good couple," Dean started the car they were sitting in and began driving home. "and she asked how we met."

"She did? What did you tell her?

"The truth. You saved my ass when it really needed saving."

"I'm sorry, Dean."

"Well, you should be," Dean replied with a smile. "I'm a trustworthy boyfriend."

"Well you can understand how I get the wrong impression, don't you, Dean? I mean, you've been with so many women--"

"Yeah, I get it. I'm hot."

Castiel agreed and sat facing forward out the windshield. Nobody spoke the rest of the car ride home.

When Dean pulled into their small town, Lawrence, Kansas, Castiel asked Dean to pull into the Gas N Sip.

"Why? Baby's almost full."

"I've decided to finish my workday.

"Is this because of the whole Cassidy thing?" Dean asked.

"No. We're having a baby. Soon. And we need money. I'm going to start working longer hours."

"Why? You don't need to do that."

"I feel it is the mature thing to do, Dean. So that is what I am doing."

"Whatever. I'll drop you off. What time should I pick you up?"

"Eleven."

"No way."

"Why not?" Castiel asked.

"Because I'm not going to let you work a fifteen hour work day at a friggin' gas station."

"What would you find more suitable?"

"Usually your work starts at eight in the morning," Dean began calculating hours in his head. "So I'm not going to let you work any later than eight at night."

"Fine, Dean," Castiel whined. "I'll work until eight."

"I'll pick you up then. Maybe I'll get a beer with Sammy or something."

"Goodbye, Dean."

"Adiós, Cas."

Castiel walked around the car and pulled his blue vest and name tag out of the trunk. Then he walked into the convenience store as Dean drove away.

Even though he was driving, Dean pulled his cellphone out from his pocket and dialed his brother's number. Dean waited for the ringing to cease and for Sam to pick up.

"Hey, Dean. What's up?"

"Hey, Sammy. Cas is at work right now and I've got some free time. Did you wanna go out for a beer or something?"

"Sure," Sam answered. "We can meet at that bar near my apartment. I've got some news to tell you anyway."

"Alrighty. Bye," Dean hung up the phone and put it back in his pocket. He drove out to the bar Sam was referring to and parked the car. The brothers greeted in the parking lot.

"I didn't bring Monica cause I wasn't sure if this was 'brother alone time' or something," Sam said as they seated themselves at the bar.

"It doesn't matter, man--two beers please--I just wanted to get outta the house. Besides, Cas has been getting on my nerves lately."

"How so?" Sam inquired.

"Just the whole baby thing is getting on his nerves, I think."

"It's understandable. A baby can be pretty stressful. Just wait until it's born. Do you know what you're having yet?"

"Not yet. Hopefully we will by the next appointment."

Dean and Sam had fun in the bar until seven thirty. "Dammit! I gotta pick up Cas," Dean gave Sam some money to pay for the drinks and ran to his car to pick up his boyfriend from work.
