"Welcome to Kan--"

"We have a woman in labor!" Exclaimed Castiel.

"Where?"

"She's coming. My boyfriend is walking her in."

As if planned, Cassidy walked in with an arm around Dean's shoulder.

"Lucy!" The receptionist called out. "Get this woman to a room."

A small, blonde nurse walked up to Cassidy and started walking her to a room. Dean and Cas tried to follow behind them.

"I'm sorry boys, you aren't allowed back there," the receptionist said.

Cassidy looked behind her and said something to the nurse.

"We have to! That's my baby!" Announced Castiel.

"I thought he was your boyfriend?" Said the receptionist, pointing to Dean. "What kind whacky relationship are you having?"

"He is," said Dean. "That's our baby."

Dean explained how Cassidy was their surrogate mother.

"Please," said Cassidy. "It's okay. They can come in."

Dean and Cas followed the nurse and Cassidy to a small patient room. She did a simple check up on Cassidy and the baby before leaving to alert a doctor.

"Well," the doctor said after examining Cassidy. "You're about seven centimeters dilated. We usually start pushing around ten. Just try to relax and stay calm until then. If you're feeling up to it, you can go for a walk around the halls."

"Okay, doc. Thanks," said Dean. They all waited in the room, Cassidy in the hospital bed, Cas and Dean in green chairs. "I'm gonna call Sammy."

Dean pulled out his phone and called his brother. "Hey, buddy!"

"What's up, Dean?"

"We're at the hospital. Cassidy's in labor! I just thought you might want to know."

"Of course I'd like to know. Congrats, man. Oh wait--Monica wants to listen..."

"Hi, Dean!" Monica said.

"Hey, Monica. How's it going?"

"It's great, Dean. How are you doing?"

"I'm pretty excited."

"Sam and I will try and fly down there as soon as we can."

"I'll be waiting to see you. Bye," Dean and Monica said goodbye and hung up. A little while later, the doctor came back in and examined Cassidy again. She was in extreme pain and was complaining.

"I'd say you're just about ready to push. Let me get the other nurses."

Cassidy sighed of relief and relaxed a little bit. "This is the hard part," the doctor said when he came back with the nurses."

"Dean," Cassidy said. "Will you hold my hand?" Dean walked over and grasped her hand. Castiel hung in the corner, lonely.

"I've got one more, Castiel," Cassidy swung her other hand in the air for Castiel to hold. Cas perked up a little bit and walked over to Cassidy's other side.

"Okay," said a brunette nurse. "On three, I want you to push and hold for ten seconds. Can you do that?"

Cassidy nodded and the nurse counted to three. The pain Cas and Dean felt from Cassidy squeezing their hands was immense, but it was not as bad as the pain Cassidy was feeling.

Her face contorted and she let out a small yell. "Let's do it again," said the nurse. "One, two, three!"

Cassidy yelled again and Dean tried his best to calm her down.

"I can see the head," said the doctor. "Give it one or two more pushes and Baby can meet the world."

Cassidy gave it a final push and the baby was released into the arms of the doctor. The room was silent for a moment until a tiny squeak emerged from the baby's mouth.

"It's a boy!" Said the doctor. Everyone congratulated Cassidy for her hard work and Cas and Dean went to meet their son.

Dean held the baby in his arms and said, "It's nice to meet you, Bobby."
