Both Castiel and Dean absorbed their first moment with the tiny baby. His small hands and feet, the small tuft of black-brown hair, and his piercing green eyes made everyone in the room stare at him.

They took turns holding him until the doctors and nurse took the baby to get cleaned and measured. It left Dean, Castiel, and Cassidy alone in the room.

"Did...did you want to hold him?" Dean asked.

"I don't know if that's the best idea," replied Cassidy, holding back tears. Dean didn't notice, though.

"Just tell us if you change your mind," offered Castiel.

"Will do," she said back.

Soon after, the blonde nurse returned with the baby. "Here's baby..." She said, handing the baby to Dean.

"Bobby," Castiel chimed in.

"Here's baby Bobby."

Dean held Bobby in his arms and stared at his face. Bobby began squirming and squeaking. Dean began humming and the baby settled.

"Cas, wanna hold him again?"

"I would like to hold him," Cas said. Dean handed Castiel the baby. He began squeaking again and Castiel panicked. "What's wrong? What do I do?"

"He's probably just hungry. I'll get him something to eat," Dean retrieved a bottle of formula and brought it over to Castiel.

"Here," Dean tipped the bottle into Bobby's mouth. "Like this."

Castiel took over and Dean backed away. "I'm gonna call Sam," Dean said, leaving the room.

Cas continued feeding the baby until the nurse walked in and said that he had fed him enough.

The doctors said that both Cassidy and the baby were free to go two days later. Dean was buckling the Bobby into the car seat while Cassidy was zipping her jacket.

"Bye, Dean," she said.

"Bye, Cassidy," Dean replied. Cassidy walked over and kissed Bobby on the forehead.

She turned to Dean and kissed him. "You can call me Cass."

Dean stood, paralyzed as Cassidy walked out the door. How was he supposed to react to that.

"Ready to go?" Castiel asked, walking into the room.

"Yeah," said Dean. He picked up the car seat. "Let's go."

The drive home was quiet and, by the time the Impala could be seen pulling into the driveway, Bobby started crying.

"I'll take him," said Castiel. "He needs a diaper change, right?"

"I don't know," said Dean. "Smell his butt. Does it need to be changed or is he just hungry again?"

"He can't be hungry, he ate no more than three hours ago."

"Babies have to eat almost every two to four hours, Cas. I'll go get a bottle ready while you bring him inside."

Castiel unbuckled the car seat and carried the baby inside the house. He brought Bobby into the living room and sat on the couch with him. Dean arrived later with a bottle.

The first day home went pretty smoothly. The baby slept in Cas and Dean's room and the couple would take turns feeding and changing him through the night.

Cas asked for an extended leave, unpaid of course and Dean spent more hours at the garage, earning more money for his family. Sam and Monica came to visit and Bobby fell in love with everyone.

But most nights, Dean would lie awake at night, thinking about that last day in the hospital, reliving that moment.

"You can call me Cass" echoed through Dean's mind, making him question himself and wonder if Castiel was right about Cassidy having feelings for him.

Dean looked over to see Castiel sleeping soundly next to him.

"There's only room for one Cas in my life," he said, turning off the lights.
