EL MATEDERO

I was on the back of the truck with Ofelia and Crazy Dog. Ofelia wasn't looking to good, though
"Ofelia?" Me and Crazy Dog asked. She was moving around like she was dizzy. Crazy Dog smacked the side of the truck. I put my arms around Ofelia, hoping to keep her steady
"Hey! Stop the truck!" Crazy Dog yelled as Ofelia fell forward. I tried to keep her up, but with nothing to hold onto, I fell off the truck with her
"Hey! Stop the truck!" Crazy Dog yelled. Ofelia groaned in pain. I felt the burns on my legs and arms
"Come on" I said as Ofelia coughed. I heard the truck stop. Crazy Dog rushed over to help me with Ofelia
"Jesus Christ, are you okay?" He asked Ofelia
"I'm okay. I'm all right. Let's go. I just lost my grip, I lost my grip" Ofelia said
"Did you hit your head?" Madison asked. I then noticed her shoulder was bleeding
"No, you're not" I said as I saw it. She was bitten
"Oh.." I muttered as Madison saw it too
"Let's go. Madison, please, let's just go" Ofelia said
"It's okay, Ofelia. Let's you and me talk for a second, okay?" Madison asked
"I want you to take me to my father. You hear me? Give me your word, Madison" Ofelia said. Madison nodded
"I will. I promise" Madison said

We made it to the trading post. Walker helped Ofelia out of the truck
"Let's get you out of that shirt" Madison said as she handed Walker the shirt. He, and Madison took off her jacket. I stood in front of her so no one could look
"Madison, if they so much as think Ofelia is sick, they'll kill her where she stands" Victor said as Madison walked over to him. I helped Ofelia take off her shirt. Me and Walker put a new one on for her
"Salazar won't be here for hours. She needs a bed and medicine for the pain. You got a better idea?" Madison asked as we got a button up to go over her shirt. Madison walked back over and put her hand on Ofelia's good shoulder
"You'll have to smile, your life depends on it" Madison said as Walker buttoned up Ofelia's shirt. We grabbed our stuff and then walked to the entrance
"Hand over your weapons, now" A voice told us, and we did as told. The guy then handed Madison a slip
"No receipt, no weapons" The man said
