i smiled at blue. the glass in between us made me re-think my whole decision on coming here.
"stupid ass, kilo, man. he was right. he was right." blue shook his head.
"twenty? twenty-year minimum for ten ounces. fucking amateur, yo." blue sounded agitated.
ten ounces?
"okay, but... i have it." i said into the connected phone.
"what?" blue raised a brow.
"i have it." i repeated.
"are you fucking serious? i knew, i knew they were fucking with me. you really got the shit?" blue grinned widely.
"yeah." i smiled.
"yeah!" blue slammed his hands on the cold metal that was in front of him.
"you serious, you really just got that shit?" blue double checked.
"yeah, i just picked it up." i let out a chuckle.
"but yo, you gotta get that shit back to lloyd, like immediately. you understand?" blues tone changed into a more serious voice.
"okay." i nodded my head, but i had something else in mind. a way for him to get out, no more wasted jail time.
"man, he's going to bug the fuck out. just tell him i got locked up on some stupid shit, aight? tell him... i ain't gonna say shit in here. he needs to know that." blue licked his lips. i picked up on this action and notice he does this when he's anxious.
"so... you'll get out?" i cocked a brow.
"uh, no. shorty, this is my third strike. if i talked i could walk, but i ain't doing that shit. fuck, i fuck up right when i met you." he ran his fingers through his grown out buzz cut.
"blue, i told you, we're gonna figure it out." i wished i could hug him or just pull him in for a kiss.
"and if it doesn't imma need you to do something, shawty." he pulled away from the glass.
"yeah, anything?" i furrowed my brows.
"i need ya to go pick someone up from my place." he licked his lips again.
